  1. Changes to Queen Mary 2’s 2021 itineraries.

Whilst we look forward to Queen Mary 2 returning to sailing in November, we have decided that having been out of service for over 18 months, we would like the initial few voyages to be closer to home.

This means that we will be making changes to her published itineraries and the first four scheduled voyages planned to depart between 14 November and 10 December 2021 will now be cancelled. We will be introducing two new roundtrip voyages that will depart from Southampton to replace the original schedule.

In addition, to comply with the latest regulatory requirements, when ships first re-enter North American waters they will undergo inspections by authorities. To allow time for these inspections, Queen Mary 2’s first Transatlantic Crossing will therefore now depart two days earlier than scheduled on 13 December. Guests booked on this crossing will have their holiday extended by two nights and will remain in the stateroom or suite originally requested, at no additional cost to the booking.

Queen Mary 2 will arrive in New York on December 20, before continuing with her scheduled itineraries, sailing to the Caribbean on 22 December.

  2. Just to add. If you take your dog, it will have to stay in the kennels. You will be able to visit it and walk it in the exercise area, but you won’t be able to take it to your stateroom or to other areas of the ship.

    Note to Turnip Eater.

    Devon ?

    Weren't you in Dorset ?

Life in Dorset now too fast for you?😛

    JB 🙂

    Hi JB

We moved from Hampshire, near Lymington.

Time to downsize and husband always wanted to see Devon, so we came to visit and saw a place and moved here to the South Hams, near Totnes.

Will miss the 45minute journey to the Cruise terminal. Next time we’re staying at Carey’s Manor Brockenhurst. You can leave your car and taxi to and from the Cruise terminal is included in the cost.

  4. In the ‘summer’ (don’t know exact dates), they would take guests from the Pig in the wall to the Pig in Brockenhurst in the New Forest for dinner.

Don’t know if they still do it .

  5. As we used to live near Barton on Sea, using Pebble Beach enables us to shop in New Milton, close by ( I know what I want😄)and drive to Southampton in the morning, plus meet up with friends. As we will have already driven up from Devon, Barton on Sea is very convenient  for us and anyone coming from South Devon and saves kicking our heels in Southampton  on the morning of sailing.

I admit it’s not convenient for people arriving via plane or train etc.

I found this schedule of the dress codes, theme nights, and theatre production shows for QE's summer cruises up to October 13th. Those of you booked on those voyages may already have this information in your voyage personaliser (aka My Cunard), but I thought this might be of some general interest. This was originally an unsorted spreadsheet with extraneous rows and columns which I cleaned up and converted to a pdf file. I hope this works and proves to be  both accurate and useful information.

    Thank you! That’s really useful.😀
