  1. Can I book EZ Air through Princess if I book my cruise through an internet travel agency

I have never used EZ Air, but with Princess' current promotion, their EZ Air is much less expensive for my Trans-Atlantic cruise in October. However, the actual cruise is much cheaper through an online internet agency.

  2. All-Inclusive Photo Package

    How does this work? :confused::confused::confused:

Do I get hard copies and digital copies?

Does the All-Inclusive Photo Package include every photo of me that is taken during the cruise .....Ports, Embarkation, Formal Night, etc

If I set-up a Group photo where each person buys their own photo, would the All-Inclusive Photo Package include my copy of the Group photo?

  3. Thanks for your recommendation - we are thinking of taking the bus to Pompeii on our port stop in Naples on 7th November. Does the same bus stop at Pompeii serve the return journey as well? I read on another thread that it was different and it might be confusing. Thanks for your help.

    Barbara

It is the same bus - SITA

You catch the return directly across the street from where you are let off for Pompeii. Very Easy

Make sure you buy your Return (Round Trip) ticket when you board in Naples

  4. I have done both the train and the bus and I say Take the bus! (Also the bus is less prone to labor stoppages)

We did bus in March and it was EASY!!! (and Cheap)

It's a very Short walk from the ship to the SITA bus station. [buy a return (round-trip) ticket because finding a shop in Pompeii to buy the return ticket is difficult].

The bus drops off and picks up about 2 blocks from the main entrance (up a very small hill)

  5. Civitavecchia

From where the cruise ship/port shuttle drop-off, is there a shuttle to and from the train station?

If so, what time does the last shuttle from the train station leave going back to the cruise ship/port shuttle drop-off.

If not, are taxis readily available at the train station?

  6. Please help!!

Booking a Panama Canal Cruise for 2017( Island Princess). Was looking to book a Balcony or Mini Suite. Not sure if there are some that are better than others. Bigger balcony, less noice, no vibrations, more private.

    Thanks Sara

Cat BE on Emerald Deck aft has larger balconies that are partially covered, so you have the best of both. We loved ours, especially the day it rained and were still able to enjoy it.

Emerald also has a small deck aft that is great for unobstructed viewing and photos. Its not very well known so not as crowded as the other open air decks.

  7. I wrapped the entire door in a colored plastic sheet and taped decorations on the colored plastic. (It looked Great)

However, our steward told us that having the entire door wrapped was a safety hazard, so we removed the plastic and taped the decorations directly on to the door.

  8. I suggest using Super Shuttle exclusive non-stop van

The cost is $89 for 9 people, however that is too crowded, so I would only have 6 people total. I have always been able to find 2 other couples on the Roll Call that want to share. The cost for 6 is only $30 per couple, but I collect $35 which includes the tip. I let everyone know the tip is included. I give the driver the $15 in cash, but you can also pre-pay the tip when you reserve the van. I like cash since I know the driver gets it.

I reserve the 9 passenger van to assure that we get the large van so we aren't sitting on top of each other. With the 9 passenger van each couple has their own row.

Since I have to pay in advance, I collect from each couple on the first sea day, that way I don't have any "no-shows" and it also gives me time to find another couple if necessary. You can either reserve before you leave home or once you are onboard.

You also get a small AAA discount, which I use as an extra tip.

  9. The posts are conflicting about the vibration issues. Some say normal aft vibrations and not bad at all and some make it seem like it was to bad they were afraid they would lose the filling in their teeth! So, has anyone stayed in this suite? This is our first Princess cruise and a bucket list itinerary thru the Panama Canal.

See araghava's post they were not happy

Do not get a room on the 14 deck. We got L715, L717 on the July 21st sailing and the vibration was horrible. When we complained, they offered us 2 rooms on different decks which obviously didn't work since we have minors. We had to endure this for 8 days before moving. It's criminal that Princess is continuing to sell these rooms while knowing about the problems with vibrations.
