That picture is in Mosingshof (AKA St. Michael), Austria - a church in the Wachau Valley along the Danube, with seven animal figures atop the peak of its lower roof. I thought that I remembered our CD saying that they were rabbits but they don't really look like rabbits. The church is called Wehrkirche St. Michael.
Correct! Here is the story:
St. Michael’s Church in Wehrkirche, built around 956, has seven stone rabbits along the roof.
Legend says that these rabbits lived on the mountain side. One day the snowfall was so severe that the gap was filled between the mountain and the roof of the church. When the snow melted, the rabbits were stranded on the roof of the church with no way to get back to the their mountain home.
Mother Nature felt sorry for the stranded rabbits and turned them into stone so they could remain on the roof forever.
Fun in the Wachau Valley!
Your turn, jpablny!

I would vote no on the Thames. As the original intent (correct me if I am wrong) was to focus on locations reachable by river cruises (that is the topic of this forum after all), I would prefer for us to focus on that. Otherwise, where do you draw the line?

Hampton Court Palace near London. I guess the closest river is the Thames. Do they have cruises on the Thames?

We have done both and added days onto both ends the second time. Direction made no difference.

We have taken 3 river cruises, one Tulip Time with Avalon, one Christmas on the Danube with Viking and one Christmas on the Danube with Avalon. They were all wonderful. We like to save money when we can (more for the next cruise), so we weigh a lot of things when we choose who to book with. While it is true that Viking has 25 or so more passengers than Avalon (perhaps others), it was not noticeable to me. I think their design really does make a difference. The cabins are slightly smaller, although certainly big enough for our needs. Very nice bathrooms as well. I did notice a difference in the dining room. Avalon has their buffet at the far end of the room which lends itself to a lot of congestion at breakfast. On Viking, their buffet was in the middle of the room and it could be accessed on all sides. So even though there were more people, it seemed less crowded. The service was amazing and since you never know about water levels, having lots of ships is a big plus. The only negative for me is the early payment, but it's not a deal breaker. We have another Christmas cruise with Viking scheduled for this December, this time on the Rhine.

Each state is given a set number for their population, but FL is giving vaccinations to anyone who asks no matter if they're not even US citizens??
Yes, as long as they are 65 or older, or a health care worker

Wow! I thought I was being so clever by finding something a little more obscure. You guys are good!
Sorry about the delay, I totally forgot my pic was up or I would have been more attentive.
