My son and daughter and grandson and nephew just got an upsell from a mini suite to a Haven courtyard penthouse. Total $2000. Kids were free. So it is like $500 a person for the upsell.

Thinking of booking the Haven courtyard penthouse. It states that it can sleep 2-3 people. Can it really do this. Where would the third person sleep. Does the chair open up to a bed?

Ok first of all your going to love the Haven. You will get one large bottle of water and a bottle of champagne in your room. With the UBP you do not get cans of soda. You can get soda at a bar in a cup though. You get to use the Haven restaurant, which is great. Your room comes with a phone that you can carry while on board. If someone needs you they call your room and the portable phone will ring while on the ship. Of course you get the use of the haven courtyard. Private pool (small) for the Haven guests. Sun deck, bar, sauna. You can even have lunch by the pool. You will get snacks every day in your room around 4 pm delivered by your butler. Tipping depends on how often you use the butler or concierge.

We are sailing next month in the Haven on the Breakaway. We have the specialty dining package. I was trying to book on line the Cirque dream dinner show. I booked it and it's in my cart, but then it asks for payment via credit card. Doesn't this venue come with the diner package? It won't accept booking unless I pay for it.

When you go up to the roof top parking and pay, they will ask you what ship your going on. They then will tell you where to go to park. You will drive to the end of the roof which is pier 88 and park.

There is plenty of parking, no need to worry. We arrived once at 2PM and there was spots left. They will always find you a spot to park.

I have my passport now for some time. My question is I now have facial hair that I did not have when I got my passport. Is this going to be a problem.

I wanted to know the night dress code for the Haven. Can I go eat dinner in shorts and a tee shirt or do I have to wear button down shirt and long pants.

Question about the haven restaurant, we have the UDP and hear the the restaurants fill up and can't get a reservation. Can I go to the haven restaurant and order from one of the specialty restaurants?

Thanks everyone for the replies. I know the haven restaurant has lobster, suppose everyone ordered it. Would they charge extra for the people that aren't in the haven like they would if I brought them to the haven restaurant.

We're going on August 7, I know there is s $25 charge per person if you bring them to the haven restaurant, but this is room service. They would be delivering 5 meals, that's why I am asking this.

My wife and me, my son, daughter in law and grandson will be sailing on the Breakaway in August, my wife and me will be in the Haven Aft Penthouse. My son, daughter in law and grandson will be in a mini suite. My question is, if we all wanted to have dinner on our balcony, can we. Or will the butler tell us no cause they aren't in a haven room.

What they should do to improve GSC is build a pier so the ships can dock. Right now the ships miss this island more then they go there. It seems the seas are always to rough to tender there.

I think the only way to go out is to park at pier. Yes it's a little more expensive but you can beat the convenience. You don't have to walk blocks with your luggage or take a cab. And when you get off the ship you are in you car in minutes after going through customs. Isn't your time worth a little money. Go for it and park at the pier. Have fun on your cruise,(out of NY)

Why do you think you need a letter. If the mother is going and the child has a passport, they will not ask you for a letter. My daughter in law went on a cruise and her brother went with his son, and they didn't ask for a letter. And if they give you a problem just say the father us deceased. I'm sure they are not going to ask for a death certificate.

First of all I am surprised they already assigned you a room. Usually they don't assign a room on guarantee rooms till your a week out. Check with your TA and check if that is right that they assigned you a room already.

Parking at the pier is $40 per day. The parking is on the roof of the pier. You enter the pier on 55th street and stay right to up up to roof. Unload your luggage near the elevator and then park your car. I wouldn't get a here before 10:30, that give enough time for the lot to empty out.

If they do give you an upgrade do you have to pay extra or get it at the rate you paid

How come there is only a discount for the Gem, not the Breakaway?
