HAL crew do not eat in the Lido, unless you are referring to Casino, Gift Shop, Spa etc. These people work for companies that are contracted by HAL and they can eat in the Lido, as can any Officers. 

It’s about time the cruise lines are going Green and saving trees. There is way too much useless paper given out every day. 
 

When my sister worked on a HAL ship, my husband and I had to submit our Passport information to HAL. Once everything was approved we were given a time to check in with security before being allowed to board and security brought us to her office.

But who knows what the new protocol will be with COVID regulations

In 2018 we did a 21 day cruise (7+14) 2 separate booking numbers and we did not have to attend the second boat drill

We have moved cabins a few times. It’s a very easy process. 
I only put my cosmetics and toiletries in my bag and the rest is moved by the crew when they new cabin is ready. 
No need to pack anything

Can’t believe it. We have a cruise booked March 4, 2022. We will wait till we get closer to final payment if there is no change in his vaccination decision then I guess we will cancel our cruise and call it quits with HAL

I have never met her, but remember years ago following her and her late husbands travels. She will be in my thoughts and prayers🙏

I for one hope they do require a certificate of vaccination. 

We always book mid ship, the lower the better. A President Club member once told me that why should you pay to sway. 😂

I just got a text from my friend on the NA and he says they are going somewhere in the Bahamas.

I spoke with my PCC today regarding an up coming cruise and cancellation 

We get a full refund of the cruise, but not the Platinum Ins. 
I also inquired if the insurance could be transferred to a November cruise we have and the answer once again was No

Had a conversation with a friend who is a doctor. He knows that we love to cruise. His advice if you have any respiratory issues then do not travel at this time

Power bars with surge protectors are not allowed, simple reason. Two or more cabins are on a power grid and if you blow yours you knock out the other cabins also.

This as per one of the ships electricians that hosted our table in November.

Just go the front seat and ask for one. They have 2 sizes, a regular and another one with a longer cord for those that use any type of breathing apparatus
