  1. Yes please heed my advice. If you can't swim don't go. I was to far down to aid my wife , luckily her brother was near and got here in and they went down together . We did not see any guides from the tour to help. Think there were to many folks having trouble. Also if the river is running brown stay out!!

  2. If you can't swim don't go . My wife fell out of the tube more than once and nearly drowned. The river was running very heavy and I told her not to go but?? They should have cancelled. So beware if it's a rainy day the river will be running brown mud. Definitely don't go!

  3. We drove up from Maryland, spent the night at Groton Conn. Navy Lodge. Brother in law is an Air Force retiree. Traffic is not great on 95 north. Got to falcon terminal around 1. We were on board by 2. Terminal not the swankiest place, looks like an old warehouse. We did back to back. Left car in lot, cost 280 for two weeks. All in all a great cruise[emoji4][emoji4]

  4. I forgot to mention that HAL brought on mussels in PEI while I was on the Veendam last year. They made them in the buffet. I'm not sure if they had them in the MDR, too, as I didn't go to MDR that night. The lobster roll on the ship was not that good, but they did have it. I had lobster roll in Bar Harbor and it was OK. Half my ports were cancelled, so I never did get the full meal in port. Another time....

We had mussels also in PEI. The were done on the Lido by the pool in afternoon. They were great. We were on a back to back leaving on June 6th and we hoping to have the again on the return, but no such luck[emoji20][emoji20]

  5. We were on this cruise also. Went back to back. Great feeling to see all those bags outside and you are staying on. Hope you did not miss JAMM THE PIANO MAN. Went every night at nine for two weeks. The guy is unreal. At the start off each leg the piano bar was quiet, but by the end of the week it was packed. On the Montreal to Boston leg the got out fold up chairs. They had mussels on the lido at PEI. Ate a lot. We're looking to do it again on the return, no mussels[emoji30]. The weather was unreal also. Did not think I would be sitting by the pool in shorts.

  6. Did the ship start out code red from Boston? And then, on the B2B from Montreal, did they impose it again as a precaution? I ask because I am booked in August and hope I don't have to endure precautionary code reds on each leg :(

Yes first two days no salt shakers food handed out, from Montreal it was back to normal.

  7. Formal nights are Bar Harbor night and sea day night. Halifax today another sunny. Jamm the piano man doing Rodgers and Hammerstein tonight, saw it I last leg, fantastic. Guitar guy also very good in the mix, Neptunes, Hall Cats so so. Neptunes supposed to play ballroom dancing music, instead it's a jazz band. Did a few dances anyway. Did not go to many shows most were just ok, or bad.
