We are a family of six adults and four children aged 11, 13, 13 and 15. We are travelling to the Mediterranean in July 2018 and going to go on a cruise. The two best choices seem to be Celebrity Constellation or Symphony of the Seas which. I believe is a similar size to Allure of the Seas. Which to choose? My husband have cruised on lots of cruise lines but never such a huge ship as the Symphony. But not sure of Constellation is good for families, in particular teenagers. Help - is there anyone that has good advice for me and thanks if you have!,

Thank you NIX70 for your excellent review. I feel much happier going on Sirena on 7th August. We've been on most cruise lines including Seabourn so am interested to see the comparison. I'm sure we'll enjoy the cruise any way as we always do! I'll write a review when the cruise is finished.

We are in a PH. I would say it has been partially refurbished. All the soft furnishings are new and the lighting. The bed is the comfiest ever. Balcony furniture is new and I discovered yesterday the chairs recline !

Bathroom is all new with large walk in shower with modern static head and a hand held. Loads of storage.

The wood furniture though appears to be original. Dark and a bit old fashioned and drawers stick a bit. TV also is small and has to be pulled out on a sliding base to watch in bed.

Copious mirrors throughout including a magnifying mirror ( can be a positive and a negative ! )

Thank you so much for your comments. The PH sounds ok. I have an email to say that the PH cabins have been refurbished!! Anyway it's a holiday. We read terrible reviews of RC Legend of the Seas last year after we had booked and we enjoyed it. We like being on holiday and as long as everything is clean and reasonable we are happy!

Le us know what you think. Would love to get a real time opinion of things. And I too am not concerned about the bathroom or cabin size-I know what to expect there. Are things working properly? Are the staff as good or better attitude wise as my remembrance form Regatta? What do you think of the Horizon's make-over? The combining of the two restaurants? Internet better as they said it would be? Shows upgraded as promised? Between the Princess apparent quality lapse and Oceania being bought out by a company that is squeezing costs out, am curious if there is a trickle down effect.

We're booked on 7th August cruise in a Penthouse suite which our travel agent said has been refurbished. We chose Oceania on recommendation from friends. Have been on most other cruise lines. Will be very interested in your comments. Have a great holiday.

It is deck 8 that we are on. 8510 and think it is under the pool deck just where the noise seems to be! Hopefully they have resolved the problems otherwise I might need to have a little chat with them if we are awoken at 4.30 am!!

Sorry, it is the 16th August that we leave from Hong Kong. We leave from New Zealand on the 12th August!!

Hi there

Does anyone know if the drinks packages include wine in the dining room? The packages say wine by the glass so I assume you can get it by the glass in the dining room. Makes a big difference if you can - or can't!

We are booked on this ship on the 12 August cruise. I've read shocking reviews of this ship and am really concerned about going. There is the occasional average review. Please post any comments you have if you've recently been on this ship. I've contacted Royal Carribean and they say that it is an excellent ship and to complain if there is anything wrong - and I certainly shall.
