We are booked on Harmony of the Seas in August sailing to Roatan, Costa Maya and Cozumel. We would like to book a Segway tour in Costa Maya but RCC says that the cutoff age for this tour is 70 and we are older than this but in good physical condition and have ridden segways previously. Does RCC actually check for age when this tour is booked?
I have no experience with RCC, but the cruise lines I've been on do, indeed, hold to their age restrictions. Generally it's the insurance companies that make those restrictions.
Sometimes, if you can find the same excursion, an independent one, not booked through the cruise line, they have different (or no) age restrictions.

This question
Would meet and greet guests during on day during the British Isles dream cruise on Sunday September 8th to Sunday September 15th e.g. Sunday 8th September during the embarkation day, Monday 9th September during sea day, Tuesday 10th during Greenock Scotland port day, Wednesday 11th during Liverpool England port day, Thursday 12th September Cobh crock Ireland, Friday 13th September Portland England port day or Saturday 14th Sunday sea day.
If you are asking WHEN will meet and greets be 1025cruise has it answered. No way of knowing until you are onboard.

Possibly. You would need to check with the staff on board.
No. The kid's clubs ages are set. Only time adults would be permitted in would be during Open House times.

because for the two B2Bs I did on another cruise line, I did not have to get off the ship.
Was this in a US port?

I asked what questions does Rona Rivera ask the guests during the interview red carpet before golden starts.
The questions can vary. I've heard "tell me about your dress", "what's your name?", "Are you with anyone else here?" and many others.

This question was asked recently:
That thread was about whether it would be possible for someone to film the interviews in the theater. I believe this is the thread you may be thinking about:

Does this mean even though my disabled/special needs daughter won’t be pick to be one of the dwarfs during the Snow White high ho scene during the golden Mickeys.
I can't say definitively whether she would or would not be picked. I'm only reporting what I've seen on my cruises.

I seen during the golden Mickey snow while high ho scene that children get to be pick to go up on stage as an dwarf. I have an adult daughter who has special needs/is disabled would be to get pick to by one of the dwarf during the high ho scene during the golden Mickeys.
her hight is 4 foot 9 inches.
They pick children for the dwarfs. Generally ones that can follow directions and go up and down stairs. I've never seen an adult chosen.

It's not prohibited, only a request.
Beside that, how are they going to enforce it? 😎 🦆
Well, the CMs onboard are removing any they find, for starters.

I predict ducks will be banned on cruise ships within the next few years because some people are idiots who ruin it for others.
Disney has already put out a policy regarding ducks:

Availability varies once onboard. I've found that the longer the cruise, the easier it is to get reservations.
I'm hoping this is true on our upcoming cruise. I didn't want to make HIA reservations before I see what's on the menus in the MDR.

I read somewhere that the security in the kids clubs for the younger kids (under 10) is very tight. What about the clubs for the tweens & teens, Edge & Vibe? Trying to understand since we have 3 kids in our group 12-15.
Thanks
Edge and Vibe kids can come and go as they want.

Welcome to HAL! The HIA package basically includes 1 specialty dining per 7 days, not per day. I think I've seen the max is 3 dinners, but could be wrong.
We have an upcoming 35 night cruise, and 3 specialty dining dinners.

This may be a bit off topic, but I have never understood the appeal of dressing like pirates in costume on Disney ships or in the parks.
Perhaps it is the Pirates of the Caribbean movies connection with Disney. Pirates have become glamorized.
But, pirates have historically been connected with thievery, violence and a ne’er do well life style.
Cannot fathom the appeal of such characters. IMHO
MJ
Yes, off topic. You don't really need to understand why people like doing it. It's just fun. Do you visit Disney Parks? Or cruise on Disney?

they will confiscate it on boarding, you would get it back at the end of the cruise
If the cruise isn't a round trip cruise, I'm not sure that's true. Cruises I've been on that people had items confiscated, could pick the up in the terminal when they return on round trip cruises. I doubt they'd transport a prohibited item onboard the ship just to return it.

What's going on on the Disney Cruise board? Half the threads I clicked on this morning are:
Sorry, there is a problem
Something went wrong. Please try again.
Is this a new Gratuities policy?
in Princess Cruises
Posted
Typically, if a direct cash tip is given to a crew member, they have to turn it in, and if the passenger has removed the auto gratuity it goes into the pool to be shared. If the auto gratuity is not removed, the cash tip is returned to the crew member you gave it to.
