Train was mostly though a tunnel, although there were some openings which provided scenery. We were hoteled in Milan and bussed to Lake Como. Took a cruise on the lake and we stopped in Bellagio for a few hours. A special luncheon was set up next to the lake. Late in the afternoon, we bussed back to Milan

We did this about two years ago from Amsterdam to Milan and absolutely loved it. It was our first Tauck river cruise and we liked it so much, we now have two more river cruises booked with them. I would recommend a day or two extra in Amsterdam, the Ann Frank museum is not to be missed, We also did the Tauck air but you need to check their price vs what you can book.

Our first cruise Oceania was on the Sirena in a concierge cabin. we found the bathroom and especially the shower to be extremely small. The following time we stayed in a penthouse suite specially to get a bigger bathroom and shower.
We are considering a relatively long cruise on the Regatta. Can anyone please comment on the veranda/concierge bathroom sizes. are they the same as on Sirena or larger.
Thanks in advance for your replies

I just sailed two segments, Rome to Barcelona then Barcelona to Lisbon. Those individuals on the first segment were awarded a club point as were those on the second segment. Two points were given out. But, I was only awarded one club point, since my journey was labeled as Rome to Lisbon. Fair?
We have another two segment cruise booked and I want the applicable points to advance up the club ladder, Suggestions

We have been through Heathrow several times so we are familiar with times required for passengers. More concerned about luggage when changing airlines, American to British Air. If a terminal change is required what is the minimum time you would allow for the bags to make the next flight

flying American, Phoenix to Heathrow
British Air Heathrow to Budapest
Same ticket

Taking an American Flight to Heathrow and changing to a British Air flight
How much time for the layover do you suggest so that BOTH us AND our Bags make the BA flight.
I have been through Heathrow before but never changed airlines
Thanks Joe

We are considering PG for the first time for a possible April/May or Sept./Oct Cruise(s) in 2024. We are both retired, active in our mid 70's and have been on 30+ cruises
Which Itinerary (or itineraries) do you suggest. Since we are both retired, we have the option of doing a back to back Thank you so much for your
replie.

Its unclear on their website Thanks

This is our first time on Oceania.
When dining in a specialty restaurant do you tip the server or is it included somewhere.

Our ship arrives at Athens at 4 AM.
Our flight leaves at 9:30 AM I suppose we would be able to "walk off" the ship by 6:30 to 7 AM
will there be taxis that early a the port or should we pre-reserve?
Thoughts on 9:30 AM flight...it was the only one with a semi-sane schedule

Disembarking in Athens ..
According to Princess arrive Athens at 4 AM May 20
I know we will not be able to get off the ship at that time but
based on above, have flight time at 9:30AM If we are off the ship by 6:30 ish we should be ok
any thoughts

Was looking at the 12 day sea of Cortez cruise over several dates on the Maasdam.
No matter what cabin I was interested in, Vista suite or lanai, it always came up cabin guaranteed, and I could not choose a particular cabin.
Is this the way HA operates or is this unique to the Maasdam. We have taken over 25 cruises with other lines and was always able to select a particular cabin

Will be sailing on the Reflection...Have eaten in Tuscan Grill but not in Murano (menu looks intriguing)
This will be our 50th wedding anniversary so want it to be special, if possible
Would appreciate your comments... thank you

We have done over 20+ ocean cruises and I have dealt directly with the cruise line and made all the reservations myself.
I read host Jazzbeau article on why I should use a travel agent. The only time I have used travel agents was for a complicated journey.
We are looking at taking a Tauck river cruise and was wondering if can set everything up with Tauck or do I really need to go through a travel agent.
Would appreciate comments from those who dealt directly with a river cruise company
thanks

Our cruise next Sept stops at VilleFranche. We intend to DIY by taking the train to either Monaco or Nice. We are torn between the two as both sound great, but we only have one day for the visit.
Was wondering if anyone could help making the choice...... We are not interested in art museums

Staying post cruise in downtown Vancouver. Have an 8 AM flight on a Monday to return to the U.S. and we are citizens of the
U. S.
How early do you suggest we arrive at the airport and approximately how long will the drive be?
Thanks

Quick question
Do taxis take credit cards?

Wondering about the condition of the Caribbean Princess after the recent dry dock. I'm not talking about the technical issue with the reduced speed. I'm asking about the vacuum system past issues with flushing of toilets and possible ac problems
Anyone care to comment

Just off the Eclipse
The hot glass show was on . They are presently rebuilding their equipment on board which will take several days, which means the show will go on for at least a few more sailings.
But, alas, they did state the the show was coming to an end, they just didn't know the exact date.
