  1. I booked 2 W Suite guarantee for £1504stg (approx €3600) for 2 people per room, Got 2 JS, assigned the next day.

Room 1650 and 1658, so it worked out well. The price in € for a balcony for 4 was €4500

The JS Price was about £600 extra, but that would have got me the beverage package and $500 OBC Per room, so maybe I should have took more time, instead of jumping so quick.

I'm still happy with what I paid. And who knows the Upgrade fairy may come calling.

  2. From where you dock, Turn Left to the end of the road, then turn Left, walk to the port entrance, then turn Right, Walk straight ahead, and the 3 Arena is on your left. The Luas (Tram) goes from there to the city centre. As per the previous poster, about a 15 min walk.

  3. If you booked through the UK, the US Office will not talk to you about your booking. However if you persist about the price drop, you should get it. I saw a price drop for a balcony and upgraded from an inside to the balcony, and I also received a credit back on my card for €140, even after final payment. I did'nt expect a refund, but I will accept.

  4. Formal night is a great way to dress up and get some great family photos taken. However it also means if you are flying, you need to carry so much more luggage. On our first cruise on the Liberty, We did the formal nights, and have not done it again.

In January on the Freedom, for the first formal night we went to johnny rockets. The next night in the dining room, the head waiter asked where were we last night, I replied that I didnt have a suit and as it was formal, we skipped. His reply was what you are wearing now would be more acceptable than what a lot of people wore last night.

My first cruise was 6 years ago, and formal night was a big thing, about 80% were dressed up, Now people dont seem too bothered about it.
