Another Vote for the Premier inn, but beware there is no AC, so it could be warm.

A taxi will take about 15 mins if they use the tunnel. I'm pretty sure there will be plenty of taxi's at that time. Or as the per the previous poster, you could book in advance. There is a taxi app called mytaxi.

They use that wonderful word,
Up to 30%. It's like that other word "from"

That seems to be a good price. I'm sailing on the NOS in August from Southamption, and the Deluxe package is £41.80 per day.

As your kids are young, maybe look at taking them out of school in May or September.

We had a GS and my wife's parents were in an inside cabin, when we went to eat in Chops for breakfast the staff turned a blind eye.

I think the bus transfer is if you book flights through Royal.

We have 2 rooms booked on the NOS, 1 in my name and 1 in my wife's. She got the email, I didn't. So checked the Beverage package price on her booking and it was £41.80 per day, and was the same on my booking, but I think last week it was about £56 per day, so that's approx a 30% discount, without doing the maths.

I booked 2 W Suite guarantee for £1504stg (approx €3600) for 2 people per room, Got 2 JS, assigned the next day.
Room 1650 and 1658, so it worked out well. The price in € for a balcony for 4 was €4500
The JS Price was about £600 extra, but that would have got me the beverage package and $500 OBC Per room, so maybe I should have took more time, instead of jumping so quick.
I'm still happy with what I paid. And who knows the Upgrade fairy may come calling.

From where you dock, Turn Left to the end of the road, then turn Left, walk to the port entrance, then turn Right, Walk straight ahead, and the 3 Arena is on your left. The Luas (Tram) goes from there to the city centre. As per the previous poster, about a 15 min walk.

There is also a direct flight from Stanstead @19.30, or Manchester @12.50.
Not sure how easy to get to those airports. Flight from Manchester is priced from £16.99

Thanks Bob

I booked 2 suite guarantee rooms yesterday, and today the rooms have been allocated. I'm happy with them.
Is there a chance that they could be changed?. We don't sail till August.
Thanks

I would say DO IT, but break up the drive.
Could be a great adventure

You will be docked in Dun Laoghaire (Tender)
The train Station is at the harbour, where you can get the dart to the City Centre. Takes about 25 mins.

When I sailed from Malaga to canaries, there was no vat charged, after you departed

If you booked through the UK, the US Office will not talk to you about your booking. However if you persist about the price drop, you should get it. I saw a price drop for a balcony and upgraded from an inside to the balcony, and I also received a credit back on my card for €140, even after final payment. I did'nt expect a refund, but I will accept.

Why has the Dream just pulled back to the pier?
This is why, aborted departure. Too windy. Waiting for *2* tugs before trying again on

Formal night is a great way to dress up and get some great family photos taken. However it also means if you are flying, you need to carry so much more luggage. On our first cruise on the Liberty, We did the formal nights, and have not done it again.
In January on the Freedom, for the first formal night we went to johnny rockets. The next night in the dining room, the head waiter asked where were we last night, I replied that I didnt have a suit and as it was formal, we skipped. His reply was what you are wearing now would be more acceptable than what a lot of people wore last night.
My first cruise was 6 years ago, and formal night was a big thing, about 80% were dressed up, Now people dont seem too bothered about it.

It was on the Freedom in January.
So if it is no longer available, I will just have to cancel my next cruise in May.(joke)

I'm also on this cruise. As it is only a 4 day cruise, there is 1 formal night
.
