I may do the zipline in Labadee. I am still deciding if it's worth it. If I don't, is there a way to go up to see that great view to take pictures without buying the zipline excursion!

We are going on Allure and will be in Cozumel from 8am to 7pm. I'm thinking of doing a Catamaran, snorkel and Playa Mia beach break. The problem is the excursion is from 12-5pm. Will this be a problem getting back on ship? When would final boarding be? 6:30pm?

How long does it take to get from Playa Mia to the port? Are there taxis readily available?

I am thinking of booking the catamaran snorkel with Playa Mia beach break.

The excursion is from 11am-4pm Cozumel time but it's 12-5pm Ship time. Allure of the Seas will be in Cozumel from 8am to 7pm. I think we would have to be back on ship by 6:30 but not sure. Is this cutting it too close? I would have to take a cab from their location to ship after it is over. There is another excursion that is only 3 hours but doesn't include Playa Mia that we can take.

WE were there last week. Used Courtney Taylor and had Brooks as our guide for the day. He picked us up at OR port at 9:30 and we went first to Blue Hole. Not Crowded at all. We had someone with mobility issues and they could get in the water without jumping. Our guide at the blue hole was VAL. He was excellent, took lots of fun photos and videos with our camera, and helped us when needed. He really kept an eye out for the 4 of us. We tried it all and never felt unsafe. There was 1 ship in OR and 1 in Falmouth. I think getting there early is probably the key.
Don't pass up this beautiful spot. It is a place you will never forget.
Can you give the guides at the Blue Hole a good DSLR Camera like Canon EOS Rebel to take pics of us jumping in the water?

Thanks!!! I will probably do the self assist.

what time can we arrive at Fort Lauderdale port? We are sailing on the Allure. Also, around what time would we get off the ship if we do self assist? If we decide to not do the self assist, around what time would we get off? Would we be able to relax by the pool or anywhere else before getting off the ship?

Here is the link to our highlight video including the blue hole
Great Video!!!!
Did Ricardo stop to take pics of scenic spots while going to the Blue Hole? How much time were you at the Blue Hole?
Also, the Zip Line, did you hold your video camera or GoPro or put it on your head? Can you bring a good DSLR camera and wear over your neck? If not, can you wear a knapsack with the camera inside while on the zipline so I can take a pic on top of the mountain for that great view? Can you book the zip line while at the beach?

Has anyone done the Cozumel Aqua Dream Catamaran and Playa Mia Beach Club Excursion with Cozumel Watersports? Any information about it would be great. Was the snorkeling good? They go to Palancar and Columbia Reefs. How is Playa Mia Beach Club?

I will be on Royal Caribbean Allure of the seas. Can I book the zip line when I am on the beach at Labadee? I haven't decided if it is worth going on and want to decide once I am on the beach. Also, Can I bring my DSLR Camera and wear it on my neck to take pics while on the zip line or just put it in a knapsack on my back while on the zip line? I wanted to at least get a pic of the view from the mountain.

Is there hibachi on the Izumi where the chef cooks in front of you?

It's a 3 wheel motorcycle tour of the island. http://www.trikes-aruba.com/ I was just wondering if the beach was walking distance from the place. Otherwise, we will take a taxi.
-
How far is the beach after we are done with our Trikes Exursion? Which beach is it? Can we walk to the beach from the Trikes office?
-
Also, is the water rocky at this beach? Is water shoes recommended?
-
Thanks for all the replies!!! Looking forward to the trip with or without the seaweed. How long is the beach time? So then it's recommended to wear water shoes? Is it really rocky when you go into the water from the beach?

Is the water rocky at Mambo Beach? Should I wear my water shoes?
-
Has anyone been to Saona Island with Seavis Tours recently? I heard there was a lot of seaweed on the island especially since Hurricane Erica. Is it still like that? Also, is water shoes recommended to go into the water at the beach?

My girlfriends and I are looking for a nice bar/restaurant on a nice beach in Cozumel. What do you recommend?

Is it too much to add the Mangrove tour if we will be on the west side? Just found out that our tour guide is Hanno. Has anyone used him before?
-
I am using cavetubing.bz for cavetubing. Has anyone brought a good camera on the trip? If so, what did you do with the camera when tubing? Were you able to use the good camera while hiking to the tubing starting point? I am planning on bringing a waterproof camera while tubing.

If we want to get off the ship by tender in Belize, we should get to the area 1/2 hour before they start giving out the tickets? Would we get on the 1st tender?

The Liberty is 4 night that goes to Cozumel and Adventure is a 4 night that goes to Cococay (private island) and Nassau. I am going soon to Cozumel on another cruise. So I have been to Cozumel 3 times and Nassau 4 times. How is their private island? Liberty is about $130 more than Adventure for 2 people. Is it worth the extra money to go on Liberty or would I like Adventure?

We are going on Victor Bodden private tour soon. For those who took his private tour, what did you do on the island?
Closest Beach to La Hach Restaurant
in Cozumel
Posted
We are going on a Catamaran Snorkel trip that leaves from La Hach Restaurant. Where is the closest beach to La Hach? We want to relax for a while on a beach close to the restaurant before getting back on ship.
