I hope they change our stop to Amber Cove...but I imagine it wont happen. So, we will be staying onboard!

As mentioned free wine was also served on my visit to the Steakhouse, this was on the 2nd night of the cruise "Formal Night" I ordered the white wine. One note of information. If you dine SOLO at the steakhouse on free wine night you will not be able to take the bottle with you. Your glass is filled when needed but the bottle was never left at the table. Nor was it available "To Go' as others have mentioned. This happened on the Dream also so it must be a SOLO diner rule.
not true for me! I was solo on the Splendor in April and got mine to go!

not larger no-- its set up different
yup...this.
I had one on deck 6 and LOVED it though!! I was right by the elevators and I enjoyed the different set up! Lots of people wanting to "check out" my room when walking by:)
-
we had free wine on the first night. i'm looking forward to it again:)
dress code or not...we always treat it as a special night and we dress up!! Its the best way for us to begin our vacation!!
-
good to know!! thanks!
-
weather permitting of course, lol, will the slides and ropes course be open on boarding day?
-
I've heard people say that this doesnt happen on all ships...but both times i've had FTTF it was not just for tender ports!! Both times they had an elevator reserved and I was able to hop on after showing my card!!
I love being able to head straight to our cabin as well!!
I have this for the first leg of our B2B...but cancelled for the 2nd leg.
Enjoy!!

this is why we bring our own camera! we can get all the photos we want...for free:D
-
thanks! we will be switching rooms....but only across the hall:D
we are looking forward to having the ship to ourselves for a wee bit!
Is it December yet?!?!:D
-
we had no issues bringing our thermal mugs with us around the ship. our kids never lost them either. they were able to get double the amount of soda at one time (which lasted them longer). it was so much nicer to not have to get refills so often! lol
-
plan ahead! I create envelopes and put the cash in to cover each envelope (soda cards, excursions, tips...). once onboard I deposit all of that cash so its done. its so easy to manage this way. I always have an envelope for "emergency" and "other". these are kept in my safe until needed.

we have just booked a B2B on Carnival Breeze. the 6 day before christmas and the 8 day for christmas. the week before is super cheap, but I lucked out for the actual christmas week and found a great deal. i'm super thrilled with our pricing since it just keeps increasing.
Book sooner rather than later. Take advantage of the deals/promos. Dont be particular on rooms/deck. Keep checking!!
Good Luck

Hey Cuz.
Did you get it sorted out?
What did you decide on for your Dec cruise? Where and which ship?
We leave on Sunday for our Back to Back 21 day East and South Caribbean.
I have heard the MSC Divina (sp?) has had some excellent deals you may want to look into. for 2015 as well. Though they won't have all the water slides and everything for the kids.
hi!! yes....its sorted out...we booked with Carnival for Christmas instead:)
Have a great trip!!!
-
thanks for the reply!
-
Thank you for sharing!! I hope that one day we could do this for our kids/grandkids as well:)
-
Everything i've read suggests this is a prime location!! Enjoy!!

We are booked for a B2B and i'm wondering if I should cancel our FTTF for the 2nd leg. I remember reading somewhere on here that it is not needed.
For those who have been on a B2B...what are your thoughts? We have no tender ports on the 2nd leg.
Also...is it true that we will get walked off and then walked back on before others board?
Thanks so much!!:D

I've been trying for an hour....nothing is listed? I swear it was on there before Jan 17 and jan 31.
all I can find are the 2 day cruises.
is my computer wonky or is it NCL?
thanks

I enjoyed my first stop in Nassau. 2nd time we stayed on as it was too busy and too expensive for our family. 3rd time I got off and had a very disappointing time at Balmoral Island
this upcoming trip we are staying on! Single reason....New Years Day! lol i'm sure we will be tired from a late night!
-
we booked with Past Guest rate...but I noticed that it is higher than Early Saver. should we make the switch? should I just call for price match?
thanks
-
i'm wondering for those who have been in these aft cabins....did you have concerns about the privacy? looks like promenade deck goes aft and people can stand right below your balcony!
thoughts? thanks
-
its your honeymoon:rolleyes: dont risk it! just poney up the cash and book something that you know you will happy with! lol a few drinks will NOT be worth the agony you will feel if you do get stuck in a bunk room:eek:
-
nothing special in mine:rolleyes:
-
were they not giving out "FTTF" priority boarding passes? Did you ask anyone?Thats what we got in December and what I got in April.
Well worth it!!
How many fttf tickets are sold per cruise?

I have always heard/read that 30 would be available...but that extras could pop up if there are less Diamond/Platinum on the sailing.
