C'mon, folks. Is this really what everyone is so upset about? That you didn't get a personal call from the president of Regent with a new itinerary? We are on the Montreal cruise leaving 10/4. We received the new itinerary in an email about 10 or 12 days ago. I looked up the 2 new ports and they looked fine. Seriously, think how fortunate we are (1) to go on such an upscale line (2) we or hopefully most of us are not in east Texas waist deep in water having lost everything and (3) you might not be looking down the barrel and had to make evacuation plans for Irma like we just did. And this is after we got walloped by Matthew last year. Again everyone, count your blessings.

Steve,
Thanks for your answer.. I wondered how many folks would show, factoring in the included beverages. I have also heard of tapes that you can take and I would have 12 and 12 and BB on my phone, so that should suffice, too.

There are still "Friends of Bill" meetings on Regent.
Thanks for the information, Travelcat2

That is an acronym for AA.

Do most Regent cruises have AA meetings? We have taken previous Regent cruises but this would be the first as a "friend of Bill's". Never payed any attention to this before. Thanks!

Everyone,
Thanks for your replies. I will go to reception and see what ship tours might be available.
Thanks again!

Is it possible to arrange a bridge tour on the Mariner? As a retired Marine I spent some time on naval ships but would love to see the bridge on a modern ship. My wife, a serious cook and caterer would love to see the galley. I know things might be different after 9/11 but thought I would ask if anyone has had these opportunities.

We stayed in the Hotel Riesen. Very comfortable, nice and efficient staff and you could practically walk to the ship. Also, very close to old historic Stockholm.
Continuing on from New York to Montreal on the Mariner!

We will be on the Mariner on Oct 4th from Montreal to NYC. This is our 3rd Regent cruise, but I don’t know what a Code Red is. Could someone please explain exactly what that means and how it limits your cruise? I read Travelcat’s post that it was a virus, not norovirus but what kind of flu? Thanks, any info will be helpful.
