I'm so glad you are enjoying my Eclipse review! If you are looking to read something extra special, then I urge you to take a peek at my review from Paul Gauguin. That is my favorite cruise so far (so also my favorite review!) and French Polynesia is so stunningly beautiful that it's hard to take a bad photo! It's a long one though, so hopefully you have some spare time to take to take a look 🙂
Thanks for the tip. I'll start that one when I'm finished with the Eclipse review. I'm also following along with your current Dream review. They're both wonderful. You have a great knack for writing, and your photos are terrific.

Also it is my civic duty to drop a link to Deladane's Carnival Review so we can all learn a bit more about the Carnival product and maybe see some new destinations through her great photos.
Thanks for the link to Deladane's review. I've never read one of her reviews before. I just started her Celebrity Eclipse review from last year and I'm hooked. I need to get through all 26 pages now. I've also subscribed to her current one on the Carnival Dream. Thanks again for the heads up.

I'm having the same problem. No activity over the last 365 days.

Our first cruise was on the Carnival Jubilee. We couldn't believe how big it was! Very small by today's standards.
The Jubilee was our first cruise, too. I remember seeing it as we drove across the Vincent Thomas Bridge and I couldn't believe how huge it was!

Another excellent review, Norris. It's always a treat to follow along with you and Carol. Cuba is a place I've wanted to visit for many years. You descriptions and photos brought it to life for me. Thank you! I've already put your next cruise on my calendar. Can't wait for that one.

Them Thar Hills! (a favorite Laurel and hardy movie)
You have excellent taste, my friend. One of Laurel and Hardy's many gems. Any of their films with Mae Busch in it is an instant classic. Add to that a great "tit for tat" scene with Charlie Hall. Now I have to dig out my DVD and watch it again.
(I'm sure you're aware that Stan is British. He came over to America on the same ship as Charlie Chaplin.)

No review of that cruise. I only write a review if enough interesting things happen to make it interesting. This last cruise was just a relaxing one with a lot of sea days.
Jack
I guess I should stop scanning the Princess Board for that review then . My wife and I have done the Hawaii cruise twice. As you said, they're nice and relaxing with a lot of sea days. I'm still enjoying your photos from this trip. Your Iceland and Greenland photos are terrific!

Another excellent set of "sail in" photos. Bravo. And a happy belated birthday.

Excellent photos of your sail into Cienfuegos. My absolute favorite part of any cruise is sailing into port, especially if it's a new one. Your photos make me feel like I'm standing out on deck with you.

Cine Payret, which was in a number of your photos, was built in 1951. It has nearly 2000 seats and is one of the largest cinemas in Cuba:

EDIT: Thanks for including some photos inside the cruise terminal. I was curious how it looked.

Your photos and videos from the HoHo bus were exceptional. You really outdid yourself with them. I felt like I was sitting alongside of you taking in the sights. I'm a big road trip nerd, and I thoroughly enjoyed "driving" the streets of Havana with you.

Excellent photos of your walk around Old Havana, Norris. There is some terrific looking architecture there. I would be in heaven wandering the streets there. The Museo de la Revolucion looks fascinating. A very different take on events, I'm sure.

Loved, loved loved your videos, Norris. You always take such great shots of typical street scenes of the places you visit. That's something that very few reviewers show. They really give you a taste of how the people live. Can't wait to see more.

Love your early morning photos from South Beach. So glad that these Art Deco masterpieces got saved from the wrecking ball.

Yay, I found you! Your cruise has been up on my calendar since you announced it on another thread last year. Really looking forward to this one. I've been wanting to go to Cuba since forever. I'm sure you'll make me feel like I'm there in person.

Here are the Star Princess Patters for 15 day Hawaii cruise Nov. 4-19, 2018. I was only able to get Nov. 4-15 to upload. If I can't get the rest uploaded I will. Hope you find them helpful. I benefitted from Jasperdo's from 2014 and just want to pay it forward.
Thanks for the shout out. I'm glad you found my Patters useful. Yours came out perfect. It's always fun to look through ship's Patters. Hope you had a great cruise!
EDIT: Sorry about the long white space at the end of this post. I removed the Patter photos from my reply to make it shorter, and for some reason it left this long white space. I'm still trying to get the hang of this new CC interface.

Sailor Jack,
Haven't been on CC for awhile and have just now found your latest adventure. Haven't had a chance to read it yet. I'm sure it will be terrific as always!
(Boy, has the interface here changed since last time I was here. I'm totally lost...)

Series 4 was broadcast in the UK back in February and March. I'm hoping it will show up on Netflix soon. It really is a great show.I think the program you are talking about is "Shetland." But I didn't realize there was going to be another season -do you know when it is due to air?
-
Following along. Your "Live From" posts are always interesting and informative. This looks like a wonderful itinerary.
-
What a great show! I'm impatiently waiting for Series 4 to drop on Netflix.Sorry that you are going to miss Lerwick - it is an interesting port. I think BBC ran a television detective series based in Lerwick, but for the life of me I can't remember what it was called. -

Of those 3 ships listed, only the Star has an indoor pool. A Pacific Coastal cruise can be on the cool side. That might be something to consider if you like hanging around the pool.

MUTS is open to everyone. They just set up deck chairs around the screen and everyone is invited. Sometimes the movie will play on the cabin's TV the next day, but not always. Many times on sea days, a movie will play in the Princess Theater during the afternoon. Thanks, best answer. Wondering if kids would get to see movies or just adults. I am looking forward to it, hope the weather is good enough to see at least one. Do the movies play on the TV's as well if we feel like laying in bed and watching one night. -
Generally speaking, the main nightly feature movie at MUTS will show at 7:00pm and again at 10:00pm. But check your daily Princess Patter to be sure because it can vary.We will be going on a Princess ship in 2020, not sure which one yet, we're working on that. We are wondering what times the movies start? Does it vary by ship or time that it gets dark?
Eurodam Alaska "When & Where" Dailies: May 18 - May 25, 2019
in Holland America Line

My wife and I just returned from an Alaska cruise on the Eurodam. I've scanned the daily "When & Where" activity guides for that cruise. I hope that some people who will be sailing on the Eurodam this summer will find it useful. Here's the link:
