Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I wanted to add: yes, a cruise line can always change ports and they are under no liability if the do so. People need to understand this when booking a cruise.
  2. No. Unless you have cancel anytime, your reason for canceling must fall under one of their covered reasons. Since a cruise line can change the port line up anytime, you really can’t fall under anything destination wise, since the ship will keep you from harms way. There really isn’t anything you can get from insurance based on this.
  3. I answered this in another post . No. Already called Allianz. You would have to have Cancel Anytime .
  4. Page 15 - exclusions. #16. I only know this because I was on with Allianz today regarding this situation.
  5. Not true. Allianz does not cover acts of war.
  6. Most insurance companies exclude acts of war. IMHO, the only type of insurance that would help is a Cancel Anytime.
  7. For anyone who has had flights cancel, make sure you screenshot this if you have to file a claim for travel insurance.
  8. I was replying to someone else, but I agree about using a travel advisor and having good travel insurance.
  9. Just spoke to Regent. They are working on it. Word perhaps tonight or tomorrow . What complicates this is the Haifa is the embarkation port, so it’s not as simple as changing ports. They have to consider all those flying into Tel Aviv. Give them some time. This is not an easy job.
