I've sailed both of these classes and Radiance class is my favorite but I would chose the one sailing from Venice because, for me, ports trump ships.

Rome in Limo will take you to both. They are fabulous and if you get people on your roll call, it is cheaper than the ships tour.

Where did you meet your guide in Santorini? If you took the cable car, how long did it take you to get up?

We loved Constanino's! The food was fantastic. We were there at the beginning of November and our group of eight were the only ones there. He gave each couple a bottle of wine when we left. Very sweet man. I have the same picture of the view through the window. I had it printed on canvas and it hangs in my living room.

Rome in Limo are wonderful! We had Giovanni in 2010. I'm glad to see he's still there.

I love your reviews! I'm really looking forward to this one since cruising on Brilliance in the Med was my first cruise. We still see and vacation with two other couples that we met on that cruise too. There must be something about a Mediterranean cruise that inspires friendships.:)

Hands down Schooners. The bartenders Hoonie And Putra are great guys.

I suffer from motion sickness. I get carsick and even get nauseous floating on a raft in my pool. I only started cruising 5 years ago because of this. I discover Bonine and it works like a charm for me. I have not felt the slightest sickness on our cruises or any of the small boat tours we have taken.
Last summer I did the Kenai Fjords trip and it was one of the best experiences of the trip. I spent most of it taking pictures and we were fortunate to see everything on our cruise. I was able to get this
picture of an orca.
Whatever you choose, I hope it
Works out for you.

I love the pictures of your daughters with the monkey. You could tell how much they enjoyed it.:)

Enjoying your review. We are staying at the Sheraton in January and I was wondering if you had any hotel pictures, rooms, restaurants, pool?

I would say it's more casual. We didn't bring a jacket for my husband, just two button down shirts and a tie. I wanted to save the room in our luggage for boots and jackets which were more important.

Izumi.
So sad the Seaview is gone. I loved it on Brilliance when we ate there.
-
So I pulled up the Dining by Options page on RC's site. I guess it has not been updated because the following is what is listed:
Cafe Latitudes
Chef's Table
Chops
Giovanni's
Izumi
Portofino
Seaview
I find it hard to believe that it has both Giovanni's and Portofinos. Plus I though all the Seaview's were gone now.
Can someone please tell me what is there and not there?

Dinner in the MDR is available on the first day. They may adjust the dinner times to accommodate muster.
Thanks Bob!
I'm trying to figure out what time to make my MTD reservation. We normally schedule them around 7:30 but in this instance, it would not work.
-
Is dinner in the MDR available on the cruises that leave out of San Juan at 8:30PM or do you have to eat in Windjammer? I have read that Muster is at 8:00 so I would think it's next to impossible to do an MDR dinner. We have MTD so I wasn't sure how to schedule it if the MDR is open. Thanks!

I use the Nikon Coolpix AW130. It's small and waterproof so you can take it snorkeling too.

Usually 6 out of 7. We'll do a specialty on one of the nights.
-
So is the MDR open or do you have to eat in Windjammer that night? We have My Time Dining and usually eat at 7:30 so I know that couldn't work with the muster drill.

Just booked today for January so I'm looking forward to hearing more.

Is this walkable or do we need to take a cab?

I looked on Jo Junies site and it shows 2 hours at Orient and 2 hours at Maho. I would like to spend at least 3 hours at Orient and 1 at Maho. Are you able to customize?
Revamped Drink Packages beginning 9/6/16?

This is true. I checked our January 8 cruise and Select is gone. My husband always got that one since he is primarily a beer drinker with a glass or two of wine for dinner. Looks like it will be OOP for him from now on since he doesn't drink mixed drinks or fancy coffees.
