Didn't know that, I've been doing it for years, never confiscated. :)

Do not depend on your phone. Use a watch.

I brought an immersion heater & my own tea bags. Get milk & mugs & sugar from any restaurant to keep in your room. Just get a new milk every day.

Royal Replenish was totally worth it to us. My boys tried every sort of frozen drink concoction they could think of. They also enjoyed the (real not packaged) hot chocolate & the freshly squeezed orange juice. It was a bonus not having to think about the cost of each item. Oh & bottled water is also included.

Try calling them. They can sometimes make bookings that are not available online.

Wow that's early. :)

There is a company @ the airport that will store your stuff for you.

Great photos! Brings back great memories. Quick question - where are all the people?

You can sign a waiver online so you are set when you get on. We were on Oasis over Christmas & there were no lines. However, quite a few people were injured on the flow riders & ice skating.

I get really irked when people say "why didn't you go before you left" There is a special place in hell for those that are woefully unaware of the curse of weak bladders and IBD!
First of all be careful you don't get dehydrated!
From personal experience I can tell you that kegel exercises work wonders for weak bladders. As for irritable bowel, it is not a disease but a syndrome. It can be so well controlled by your diet that it's as good as gone. Also relaxation techniques so you don't start worrying about your tummy, which gets it going. Vicious circle. Good luck!

I have heard that you should eat a green apple a day to prevent seasickness. Don't know if it helps but it can't hurt.
Weird thing for me is I get carsick, motion sickness & I have vertigo, but I never get seasick.

I'm sorry about your camera. F-book has a lost camera page & there are a couple of websites too. Good luck.

Stay on your side. :D

Oh I see, :) . I recently went on with my needlepoint scissors & needles, no prob. My son had his Swiss Army knife. The airline was ok with that stuff also.

Remember to turn off cellular data & roaming & 3/4G. Otherwise if you turn off airplane mode they will be on. Also, if you turn them off you can leave airplane mode off & just let it search for wifi. Every port I have been to has some sort of free wifi. You can try to use your ironic app, too. (Ironic because to use the wifi finder app, you need wifi. :D)

Why not PC? To whom are you referring?

Every time we disembarked/embarked @ an island (Caribbean) I noticed that there was a large bin of confiscated fruit just before you left pier/entered ship. I was wondering, what do they do with it? If it does not get incinerated &. gets tossed into landfill/compost it completely negates the purpose of not allowing these items into the country or back home.

We also used our battery-powered tea light every night on the balcony, the highlighter & the post-it notes.

Wish they would serve breakfast later than 11a.m.

We were on deck 9. Loved looking down at the ocean, especially at night. The reflection of the lifeboats & water rushing by was mesmerizing. First time we were that high & loved it. Also, no problem hearing the water.

This past cruise was the first time I ever heard of taking duct tape (here on cc). Thought it was silly but took it anyways. Well, I ended up using that stuff like crazy- taping luggage tags & suitcases; labels; ankle wrap; wheelchair adjusting; towels to chairs on our balcony...who knew?

Not Starbucks. But you don't really need it. Included is cappuccino, latte etc. Hot chocolate. Bottled water. Any frozen drink, coffee included. I had so much freshly-squeezed oj all day long. It was delicious. I got a thermos from room service & would fill it with the freshly squeezed & put it in the fridge. Nothing better on the balcony in the morning. Totally worth it.

Because many of us use our phones as a camera
Gotcha. Don't know why that didn't occur to me. :D
