Credit to the staff who did not reply then calmly went on. The woman went off in a huff. Too bad because the prize was a highlighter!

Make sure you actually wear a watch & not depend on your phone. The time is not reliable as it is constantly changing. Use a watch with an alarm to remind you when you need to leave. If you are not comfortable carrying your passport, make sure you have some photo id along with your ship card.

I would check what children's programs are available also. I live in Ontario & go for the heat every time. Although maybe Alaska in a few years be ause it does seem interesting & beautiful. You know your kids & what they would like better than anyone. Go with their preferences. You might want to ask them their opinion. Whatever you decide, enjoy.

Yes, the most we had to wait was 5 minutes. I believe it also depends on exactly what time you get there. We usually went around 7 & no line. By the time we left around 8 the line was longer, but definitely better than the no res line.

Just got off Oasis. Boardwalk bar always had sandwiches, salads & sealed packs of veggies & dip and nachos, salsa, guacamole. Sometimes you had to ask as it was usually in the fridge under the bar.

We had a 6:30 reservation for example & on the planner it said anytime between 6:30 & 8:30.

You can make reservations as soon as they become available. It is usually 90 days out, but check often because sometimes it is even earlier. Make reservations for everything. It is easier to make changes on board than waiting in a stand-by line.

I highly recommend making reservations. You have a 2 hour window in which to arrive. The wait for people without reservations was over 45 minutes last week. We never had to wait.

Come to Buffalo, NY we have the best kimmelweck sandwiches:)

Just off oasis. Royal replenish includes freshly squeezed orange juice which was fabulous. You can get bottled water anywhere. Cappuccino etc, any frozen virgin drinks, pop. No idea what specialty teas are. It was definitely worth it but we did not use the freestyle machine once.

Deck 9 starboard midship. Great location although getting around is so simple it doesn't really matter where your room is.

The boardwalk bar on oasis has packaged & sealed snacks such as veggies & dip, nachos & salsa & guacamole, mini salads, sandwiches. They don't always have them out on display so you have to ask. Great to put in your fridge for a snack later.

You have to watch the salt. Drink lots of water. And there must be veggies at the buffet. What if you contact in advance & ask for turkey bacon to be provided?

I have the most ironic app on my ipad. It's a wifi finder. But you need wifi for it.

Search for "Norwalk" virus. Also anti-bacterials don't work, since it's a virus. You just need to rub your hands vigorously with water, soap doesn't matter-you are trying to scrub the stuff off your hands.

Soooo...I called RCI today to order the new Royal Replenish package. After putting me on hold for 15 (!) minutes, she came back and said you could only order it from the purser's deck once you board. Oh well, I guess I'll wait until after Dec 1 & try to order it online.
