I dont think you will be disappointed. Let us all know how your trip went with them once you are back
-
Nachi Cocom hands down! I have been to nearly every AI resort in Coz and without a doubt NC has my vote
-
Last time I was there we had 4 ships in port and I regret going to Paradise Beach. It was PACKED! Nice place for a light tourist day but with 4 ships...never again. Nachi is my go to spot as they limit the number of guests
-
If you have not been to GC and out to see the rays before...this is a MUST DO while in GC. You can visit resorts/beaches on other ports of call your ship makes but there is no place else I have ever been that compares when it comes to stingray experiences.
-
No idea why they would have stopped offering it BUT for $2.50USD per person...utilize the bus system and go on your own. Much cheaper. Buses and cabs are easily accessible along 7 mile
-
Captain Marvins has a storefront directly outside of the port if you want to do snorkeling/stingray tours. Otherwise as the poster above states...the bus system in GC is super easy to use and will take you anywhere on the island super cheap! $2.50USD per person anywhere on the island.

over 10 times....excellent outfit! I have never had any disappointments with them. I am yet to use any other tour operator out there for stingrays/snorkeling tours
-
Not too sure what the difference is. I have used Captain Marvins about 10+ times and not once have I been disappointed. I will be using them again when we go back out there in 2 weeks.

great info. the link for calico jacks doesn't work though. Here is the correct link. https://www.facebook.com/CalicoJacksCayman

when you get off the tender on the pier...walk into the shopping circle and there will be a booth for cayman island helicopter tours. My wife and I went to the booth and asked about a tour, they said they needed 4 people to fly so we either had to pay the full amount or hope two more would join (we were ok with either option but prefered option B). The attendant took my # .as we walked around the port area they looked for another couple to fly with us...they called us 10 mins later and said lets go! They found another couple and off we went. The ride was amazing...it was really a neat experience. If you dont find someone in advance, try to contact them in person when you arrive in port...go early. I am sure they will help you find another couple to fly.

turtle farm would get real expensive and my 2 cents...not really worth the cost. I say pick one of the many nice beaches and grab some sun.
-
the waterpark at atlantis is amazing BUT yes if you are only in port a short time the waterpark would be a waste of money for sure.
If you wont be doing the waterpark then I would also look into dolphin encounters on blue lagoon island. If it were me and I wasnt going to do the waterpark as part of a combo then I would choose to go to blue lagoon for their dolphin swim.

st thomas there are pay phones yes. Nassau there is one at the pier that seems to have always been good to go...within the city, I would say its going to be hit or miss.
-
grand turk we have always seen turtles and rays when diving out there and the occasional small shark. Neat place to dive/snorkel
-
Nassau they may enjoy the water park at Atlantis and save the dolphins for another port OR you could do both waterpark and dolphins with Atlantis if you are in port long enough to enjoy both.
-
Personally I am a big fan of Atomic masks. Atomic places the RX lens in at their CA facility. As BJ mentioned though...a mask is all about fit. Go to your local dive shop and ask them which masks can be fitted for RX and try those on.

with a 2 year old, not a whole lot. Most ports I dont even get off the ship when I take my toddler with me. If he likes the water, try a calm beach.
-
yeah looked it up last night. awesome. I will have the fam with me on this trip but a majority of the time I travel alone so on my next solo trip I will have to make my way over.
-
rum cake place is across the street :D

If it was a 7 day for 300 for the balcony upgrade....i would be all over it. but for a 3 day on the dream and 50 bucks to do window versus inside...no question.

Waste the space in my luggage...how much space does one take up...its the size of a small file folder when deflated. All what energy? takes 2 mins to inflate a small float lol. I have taken one once and it was great to use...used it over half a dozen times in ports over 2 weeks. I always take back to back cruises and I ALWAYS take home what I took to the beach. I am a scuba diver and I love the ocean (so much so that I dont even eat seafood) so the float isnt left in the ocean but rather taken home with me. To each their own I suppose

Magic already has it. Do you mean Wonder ?
Sorry yes, the wonder. I always get those two mixed up :D
-
Brent was amazing!!!

cant go wrong with the dream. My favorite staff has been on the dream. Enjoy your trip!

for the kiddos I would have to agree with Paradise Beach. The place is too crowded for my liking. I went once and likely wont go back....at least not with 4 ships in port. I take my kids on most of the cruise I go on but they aren't old enough to use the water toys at Paradise so Nachi Cocom is my go to.
