  1. It does say sleeps ,2... I maybe wrongfully thought that just meant it didn't have Pullman beds.
  2. Does a cot count as a third passenger? Sorry that may seem like a daft question, I just presumed if a balcony cabin is exactly the same footprint then what's the difference?
  3. Hi All, My wife, 6 month old and I are considering booking an MSC cruise but when I put in 3 passengers (even though one will be in a cot rather than a bed) it won't allow me to book an interior. Any ideas? We can't really afford the cost if we need to pay for a balcony. Thanks!
  4. I'm hoping that this is just poor customer service pre-cruise and as per most cruises the service onboard will be exceptional. From all the cruises we've done we can only grumble about one or 2 things and even then it wasn't anything serious which isn't bad going.
  5. He's causing so much grief with my cruise that I'm currently looking at the refund policy 😂
  6. Hello, We're on Azura in 5th January 2024. We just booked the saver fare but I believe my baby cost £49. I'm sure it'll be great when onboard but would rather fix all this beforehand.
  7. 🙈 Thank you - I will do this 👌
  8. I think that's a very good point RE availability. Thank you 👌
  9. Unfortunately that thread was me 😂😭 it's not turning out to be much fun to take a baby on holiday at the moment 😂
  10. I booked through an online TA... but they've been told the same by P&O. I think I'll try and push it back on the TA too to try and sort it
  11. Definitely... Unfortunately for me, it was the other way round with the room. I booked a queen and it's now been changed to twin and they won't let me change it back.
  12. Unfortunately this was after I booked... I did say that if it was a hotel or a refundable deal I would have cancelled as it's just been hassle. I enjoy planning my holidays but this isn't planning 😂
  13. Thank you all - the room issue isn't really an issue to be honest, if it's to be an inside then that's not the end of the world. It's just the disappointment of being our first P&O cruise and what should be an easy fix is just proving a hassle. Why sell infant fares if staff (and website) can't realise that a 6 month old will not be sleeping in a bunk bed, that they may need a cot and that they won't need a drinks package. Thank you - I didn't want to be unfair and be "that passenger" that complains all the time but just felt these should be fixed.
  14. Hello! Booked my first P&O cruise a couple of weeks ago. Long story short, I'm travelling with my wife and 6 month old baby and... 1. Outside cabin was same price as interior. It wouldn't let me book outside as these don't have Pullman beds and they want my 6 month old to sleep in a Pullman bed and their system won't let them change it. Had to book inside cabin. Outcome: contacted P&O about changing to outside cabin and they said to try and sort it onboard 2. They won't allow me to configure the bed as a queen, instead it must be a twin due to "third passenger requiring Pullman". Outcome: was told to sort it onboard 3. They can't note that we need a cot. Outcome: told to sort it onboard. 4. Tried to book a drinks package for my wife and I but told their system will only allow us to get it if my 6 month old takes a drinks package too. Outcome: told to sort it onboard Am I being unreasonable in thinking that I don't want to spend the first few days of my holiday at guest services and chasing my room steward asking for things? Surely it's a holiday so that you can relax? Maybe I've got too high expectations but for me, that's on P&O customer services to be making these adjustments for us? Potentially I could understand that I've now booked an inside, and possibly not much they can do but the other points sound like they're trying to pass their admin work on to me?
  15. Oh man, I do like a dip in the pool so maybe this isn't the best cruise for me and my wee 3 month old baby 😂 thank you!
  16. Hi all, Considering doing the Euriba from Southampton on 22nd March...has anyone cruised around this time before? What can I expect weather-wise 🙈. Thanks!
  17. Theres no service fee added to drink purchases or anything on P&O is there? Ta!
  18. It's just part of every day life now and I guess that if they are forced to include baggage then the flight cost will increase. I just hate finding cheap flights and thinking oh great lets go...and then adding bags 😅.
  19. Yep, it was Lanzarote for us and we were able to hire a car for 70euro for 10 days. A return suitcase can now be £100pp. I'd have always just taken hand luggage but babies change that and now getting flights included with P&O was very attractive.
  20. That's a great price for Menorca!
  21. Got you! Thanks, not the end of the world...just makes the morning a bit easier. Hoping the queues aren't too bad for the dropping luggage off in the morning of a chartered flight. Ta!
  22. In fairness, P&O certainly weren't our first choice but getting my wife, my son and I for £1,100 including flights and luggage in January to Canaries seemed like a no brainer. I think I'd be lucky to get flights, luggage, transfers and full board at a reasonable hotel for anything like this money? When you say you got the AI for half the price...I'm presuming you're not talking ~£550 and instead your cruise budget is a good bit more than ours? Luggage alone seems so expensive now when flying and with a wee 3 month old unfortunately I can't go just hand luggage anymore.
  23. Hi all, just wanted to check if P&O do Twilight check in for our flight from Gatwick to Tenerife in January? Thanks!
