    Breakaway stepped out balcony

    I have cabin #14750 (spa Balcony) booked on the Breakaway sailing Dec. 1st, I will be sure to take a lot of pics. 82 days to go!:D

     

    Have lots of fun on your cruise and don't forget about taking lots of pictures of this room. It will be my room in 4 months. Would love to know what you think about the noise and the overhang.

    Bar Set-Up is available on all Ships excluding Pride of America.

    I booked my upcoming cruise in the beginning of October. I have changed cabins 3 times so far and still don't think I'm done. My ultimate goal is to be in the Haven Spa. We started in a midship Mini Suite to an Aft Balcony to A Spa Balcony....

    I love Aft Balcony but my sister-in-law and I really want to do the spa thing.

     

    Is it normal to change so many times? Am I thinking this out way too much?

    How many times have you switched cabins for 1 cruise.

    How could NCL improve?

    I would love to see all the customer service agents have the same answer. You could call 4 times with the same question and get a different answer every time. Thats why I come here. I get the right answer (usually) the first time.

     

    Also, I would like them to do away with the black out date for the UBP.

    That last sentence just means that you can not buy it on 1 or 2 day cruises (Cruise to nowhere). Has nothing to do with my cruise or anyone else that is going on a cruise of 3 days or more.

    Disappointed - UBP Blackouts for Spring Breaks

    The blackout period is Mar 1 thru Apr 15.

     

    So I finally found the details on the UBP and the fine print states;

     

    A 15% gratuity plus any applicable taxes will be added to all package purchases. Packages must be purchased b y all

    qualifying individuals residing in the stateroom or additional staterooms under the same method of payment for the entire

    length of the cruise. Packages may not be shared and are non-transferable and non-refundable. You must be at least 21

    years of age to purchase any alcoholic package and to consume alcohol. See the terms of our guest alcohol policy.

    Other terms and conditions may apply. Package not available for purchase March1-April 15, on 1-2 day sailings or

    charters or Pride of America.

     

    The way I read it, its just not available on cruise to nowhere and charters! meaning any cruise over 3 days that isn't chartered the package will be available! please tell me I'm right.

    Thank you. So you can use towards final payment? I may call NCCL tomorrow and see if there is a limit how many can be applied towards final payment. With Six people in the Haven on BA in August perhaps purchasing quite a few $500 gift cards would give quite a few "free" HSN money. Thanks.

     

    I was told you can only use 1 toward final payment. But call and see what they tell you. It seems you can get 3 different answer if you speak with 3 different people. :p

    Breakaway Aft Balcony Vs. Aft Penthouse Suite

    I'm booked on the breakaway in an aft balcony but would love to be in a Aft penthouse suite. Right now its about $2600. each vs. $1099. each. I have been watching the prices and am praying that the price comes down some so that I could realize my dream of having a butler. I will be traveling with my sister- in-law and it will be her first cruise. Our final payment isn't due until January 16th so I have some time but I really want one with the larger balcony. I don't want to wait too long if we decide to do this.

     

    My question is.....

     

    1.) Do you think its worth it

     

    2.) Do you think the price will drop before final payment is due? (sailing March 30th)

     

    3.) Do you think they will have black friday specials?

    At the end of the day, any one dollar bills in my wallet goes into an envelope for me cruise. This way I'll have tip money and small bills for shopping. Im retired so I'm not doing cash transactions every day so there's many days nothing goes into the cruise fund.

     

    My next cruise is a long one (94 days) so I will need a lot of $1's.:D
