1. Good morning everyone...we tried the premium alcohol package on our last cruise for the first time. The convenience was great! Many times we were not charged the overage (ie I had a glass of French Champagne that listed at 18 dollars a glass.) The Sommelier said that this was over the package allowance, I said fine, he served it, we were not charged on our stateroom account. This happened a few more times. Another perk, I did not like a glass of wine that was suggested by the Sommelier for dinner one night (he did not pour a small amount for me to tasted first), sent it back and ordered something else. I did think that having the package encouraged us to consume more, and that is probably my own weakness. One thing we will do on our next cruise is...order the premium alcohol package. One thing we won't do is feel obliged to attend the Elite offerings where we consumed the free stuff too. I think that is where we over saturated the liver. Overall, we were very pleased with the package and the all-inclusiveness it provided.

  2. Take LOTS of Ambien before take-off. You will be numb and sleep most of the flight.

Ummm, I would be careful with Ambien. As a nurse, I have seen my share of bizarre behaviour with patients who have taken this med. Even my girlfriend, who suffers from insomnia, can report less than pleasant side effects. Fear of flying is a toughy. Add claustrophobia is a double whammy. A low dose sedative like Valium or Xanax may be a better choice to calm the nerves. Of course, flying first class, as expensive as it is, may be another option.

  3.
Well, what are you waiting on? It is nice to "see" you again. :)
What am I waiting on? My next cruise of course...been gone too long from the Celebrity scene. Have you been surviving the economy? Just spent a week in Dallas, to stay on the thread subject, I checked CC day and night while on vaca there.
  4.
I know I am addicted, because everytime I go to the Cruise Critic , I get hungry for waffles. :D
Hi Texed and Jacque...I found some photos yesterday while I was cleaning out a closet that had you guys in it...I think it was in your suite on the Infinity. HoPe you both are doing well, and I am lookng forward to trying these waffles you rave about...can you believe I have not had them yet? I know I am addicted to this web site. I check it in the morning, during my lunch, and usually twice in the evening. It is a wealth of knowledge, if you want or need it, a lot of humor, whether you expect it or not, and a place to make friends if you are open to it. Thanks a million Cruise Critic, you are an invaluable part of my cruise planning!
  5. When you refer to freinds & family as DH, DS, DF etc

When you are confused as to why the dinner menu is not posted

When you wonder what the drink of the day will be ( and its only 10am)

Ha Ha, I have called my hubbie DH many tmes in public and have gotten weird looks...I think people think these are his initials.

  6. Thank you Treasurequest...when I finished your review, I felt like I had just ended my vacation...or put down a great novel that when you close the cover, you sigh and smile. I, too, will pull much of your adventure into my travels when I am priviledged to visit the Islands for the 2nd time in 30 years (1981 honeymoon...2011, 30 years anniversary). Julie
