I've been fortunate to have enjoyed people from all economic levels. If anything, I believe more $$ = more entitlement. The worst are those who brag about "screwing over" low income/low intelligent people.

We cruised on the Equinox this past January, after cruising several times on Carnival and several land vacations. The behavior I saw was not much different at all. Sorry if some don't want to hear that. It was my beautiful wife and my experience.
One schmancilly dressed lady give me an attitude and a talking down in the MDR. I never had that happen on Carnival.

It is what it is. I've told my family for years the older I get, the more I understand hermits.

Cardioversion and defibrillation are NOT the same thing.

If you have poorly controlled afib you should probably d/w your physician if cruising is right for you at this time.

Cardioversion requires prior anticoagulation, is done on a scheduled basis, and often with echocardiographic guidance (definitely not available on a ship.)

Cardioversion done on an emergency basis is done with sedation only.

We've never paid more than $30 for any specialty rest. on Celebrity. We always got good discounts. Do I think it's worth it? Yes. The food is much better than the MDR.(not incl. Luminae) Ambience is nice, too. Normally quiet & enjoyable. Exception one night in 2017. The table was so foul & objectionable, I stood up & told them to knock it off(to much applause) The Maître D warned them they'd be banned if they disrupted a meal again.

You sure don’t seem to have much luck with fellow passengers. What could they be doing that was so foul ? Well, aside from being too casually dressed.

I’ve only sailed twice and on Princess.  Didn’t really see a big difference in the food in the dining room and the specialty restaurants. We have booked Murano for the first sea day so we shall see.

  4. I have to laugh at people who complain about the lack of formal nights or that others are not dressed “appropriately” and then go ashore in European capitals dressed in shorts, T-shirts and sneakers. Planning on entering churches and museums and restaurants.

So, while you may complain that some are too under dressed for your liking on the ship, give a thought to the locals in the cities you visit who think you are horrendously under dressed for an outing in the their city.
