  1. I am only guessing at ths. But, I would imagine that if the general boarding area is not very busy, they would allow you to enter. But, if busy, then you would have to wait until the appointed time. It is a control measure and probably flexible. But, I would not depend on it. Rules are rules and things goes much more smoothly when everyone complies. I purchase FTTF whenever I can and avoid all of that. To me it is well worth it.

Not true , they are very strict on the check in times , Galveston ,you will be check by several agents before you even enter the terminal ,,, and they will refuse to let you in until your printed check in time

  2. Remember to ,there is no insulation in the walls between cabins , If the baby cries , You are bothering people on either side of your cabin and across the hall .. We had a spa cabin ,people next door had a baby that cried almost non -stop day and night , Day 2 ,I had ,had enough , went to the service desk ,They sent security up ,to talk to the couple ..Baby was cutting teeth .. So your decision affects others ,who also paid for their vacation

  3. We booked the Dream for a third time because we love the tandoor grill only to learn that is about to be removed from service. That said we also were excited to try the new pig and anchor barbecue Because we are from the south and love barbecue and we are Guy fans. We waited in a long line for about 20 minutes to get our barbecue and I could tell when I saw the beef brisket that something was wrong. It was a dense and hard and had no smoke ring. Then they piled the greens on my plate and they were covered with a slimy yellow grease and had no vinegar smell. I reach for the Carolina barbecue sauce for my pulled pork in it was the right color but again had no smell of vinegar in was a bit sweet tasting nothing like anything in any of the Carolinas. I tried to eat the greens I took two or three bites forcing myself to eat this slimy crap with no vinegar. I have no idea what that was but they were not greens this southern boy knows better. I took one bite of the brisket and spit it out. Anyone that knows me knows that I love beef brisket and I know what it is and whatever this crap was it had no business being on the menu and I’m sure guy would be hugely embarrassed if he tasted it. The chicken was just OK not enough smoke as was the pulled pork. But again Carolina style pulled pork is all about the vinegar-based sauce and there was none to be found on the ship. Is I threw most of my food away I heard other people complaining that the food was not worth the wait and there was much disappointment all around me. At the dinner table The only ones who had anything nice to say about the barbecue were the people from Michigan and being that they don’t have a strong barbecue tradition up there I will give them a pass for not knowing better. The sad thing was the dream heels out of Louisiana and poles from all the deep southern states and everyone on that ship nurse for barbecue were supposed to be in the aint this crap unfortunately

  4. What is the time for open & close into the spa area?

Do you you use your S&S card to get in the spa area?

Hours are 8AM -10PM , When you go into the spa area ,They have a desk there , You give them your Sail Sign card , They verify you are in a spa cabin or you have paid to use the spa , They will then keep your SS card and give you a white card which will open the different doors in the spa area

  5. I need some help from cruisers who have been to Cozumel with infant/toddlers. I have a friend and his wife traveling to Cozumel with us next week and we are planning an excursion to Mr. Sancho's Beach Club. Has anyone had any experience traveling with an infant/toddler in Cozumel? Did you bring a car seat on board ship with you? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Not much need for a car seat ,most bus's ,taxi's you find in Mexico ,and in the islands , won't have seat belts anyway

  6. Muster was slow and agonizing for us despite the new technology. We were standing out in the heat for what seemed like forever while late people were showing up, and they were allowed to show late. My disabled husband almost passed out and had to be escorted inside. I have osteoarthritis and heat sensitivity so it felt like torture. I wish they would do it indoors with ac and seating. Until that happens, we will be anticipating the muster drill with extreme dread when we sail Carnival.
