I get where you're coming from about this. I mostly wanted to find out this info to get an idea of what Royal Caribbean's beverage package pricing is before deciding on a booking, which is how I found this "hack".

Here's the trick to view cruise planner items (including shore excursions) without having to be booked on the cruise. This same trick works for Royal Caribbean cruises since they run off the same system.

It just involves a little URL parameter adjusting.

Here's the base URL for the beverage package page (you can navigate to any other cruise planner page from there as you normally would):

    https://www.celebritycruises.com/account/cruise-planner/category/beverage?bookingId=0000000&shipCode={ShipCode}&sailDate={YYYYMMDD}

    1. Simply replace the {ShipCode} portion of the URL with the ship code you're looking for. You can find the ship code by doing a search with on the main "Find A Cruise" page and filter down to the ship you're looking for. The 2 letter ship code will then be shown at the end the URL for that filtered page.

    2. Also replace the {YYYYMMDD} with the sail date of the cruise you want to look at. 4 digit year, 2 digit month and day.

    3. Sign out from the celebrity website before entering the url. I think it blocks you from viewing if you're logged in.

So, for example the url for the cruise planner for the Dec 30, 2023 Celebrity Apex sailing would be:

    https://www.celebritycruises.com/account/cruise-planner/category/beverage?bookingId=0000000&shipCode=AX&sailDate=20231230

Hope this gets you what you need! Note they do add excursions to book closer to the sailing date.

Thank you for the excellent work around.  Why would Celebrity/Royal not promote there offerings to customers?  Promoting shore excursion, beverage packages to entice and excite the customer is good marketing.

We both tested negative so we are now all ready to board tomorrow.

Anyone who is sailing from an Italian port visiting Greece and needs a test

2 days prior to sailing please do not worry.

There are Pharmacies (Farmacia) all over who will do the test. You will need your passport and it takes about 30 minutes to get the result and required paperwork,

There is no need to make an appointment we just walked in.

    Hope this is helpful.

Thank you! This is very helpful to know.

This has gotten insane. If it's truly a PCR for an RNA virus (SARS-CoV-2), it's an RT-PCR. You need the Reverse Transcriptase to produce DNA for amplification. But almost no one not seriously into the science of the system is going to call the test a RT-PCR; they'll just call it a PCR. I don't know what's going to be printed on the form from the lab, unfortunately. And the people at the lab are largely giving you a shoulder shrug on this. Or you're talking to someone collecting samples, when it's probably the lab chief who can say "of course it's a RT-PCR".

    Well stated!

  4. Stan, Thank you for posting on this very timely subject.  I immediately checked on my Global Entry card for the expiration date.  I am going to expire soon and appreciate your and all contributors information and suggestions.

When speaking with Celebrity, did the representative attempt to explain the conflict with this document on their website, which also takes into consideration the July 1st changes made by Sint Maarten, or why one takes precedence over the other?

I just got off the phone again with Celebrity and it appears that the wording on the July 1, 2021 update is being moved up to management to be addressed.

I suggest that you phone Celebrity or your TA to clarify. There are multiple threads discussing this issue and Celebrity's inability to provide concise, accurate and non-conflicting information. If you go through the threads, you will find a number of posters who arrived early in Sint Maarten had a second test and provided information on where they took the test.

Fouremco, I called Celebrity Customer Service who could only confirm the current update of July 1, 2021 that is provided on their website.

I too have been a poster on this topic with my thread of "Millennium Arrives in Phillipsburg" which I initiated during our land based stay in St Maarten.  We also had testing requirements for entry and exit from St Maarten.

I have also been able to locate a few of the Celebrity website Travel Requirements for St Maarten.

From May 7, 2021,  "Upon embarkation, all guests are required to present negative RT PCR test results taken within 3 days prior to arrival.

From May 19, 2021 at 11:59 AM, "At the terminal, all guests ages 2 and up are required to present negative RT-PCR test results taken 72 hours prior to boarding."

From May 19, 2021 at 7:18 PM,  "St Maarten  Government regulations require US & Canada visitors to present naso-pharyngeal RT-PCR test results taken within 120 hours prior to arrival.

Celebrity like much of the world has had to adjust and update their travel requirements to a changing world.

Celebrity's update from July 1, 2021 seemed to possibly relax the element of an additional test taken to embark for travel from St Maarten.

We are all in this together and I hope that we can all together explore our seas once again.

  7. amcb, I agree with you that the update from July 1st established a different testing schedule.  When calling Celebrity, their customer service only reiterates what is on the web site.  There is no critical thinking or interpretation from customer service.. Plus, why should the customer be responsible for an interpretation?

Celebrity,  can you please provide guidance on the July 1st update on your website?

  8. The update, "St Maarten Travel Requirements as of July 1, 2021" specifically states, "All guests must present a negative RT-PCR test taken 72 hours prior of arrival to St Maarten."

If this is incorrect, how are we as passengers supposed to determine what is correct  vs what is "not" correct information from the Celebrity website.

Maybe another update is necessary from Celebrity to clarify the difference between arrival to St Maarten and  arrival to the pier or Embarkation???

The chart on the homeport page still shows the requirement of 72 hours prior to arriving at the terminal. But it doesn't look like it's been updated because it still refers to the 120 hour requirement for St. Maarten.

I wonder if they tried to come to some agreement with St. Maarten since now the 72 hour requirement is in place for St. Maarten.

It has been updated and is listed as "St Maarten Travel Requirements as of July 1, 2021."  I'm just looking for clarification.

  10. The St Maarten Travel Requirements as of July 1, 2021 can be located on the Celebrity web page at the very top where it notes, "View Health and Travel Requirements to keep you Healthy at Sea." When you select this it brings up another window - Healthy At Sea.  From the Healthy At Sea page go down to the dark blue horizontal bar and select "Country Travel Requirements."  Select St Maarten and this document begins with the Vaccination Policy, followed by the St Maarten Travel Requirements, and then the Celebrity Boarding Requirements.

"All guests must present a negative RT-PCR test taken 72 hours prior to arrival to St. Maarten."

The above statement does not indicate 72 hours prior to Boarding which is different than prior to arrival.

    Any clarification?

  11. St Maarten Travel Requirements as of July 1, 2021

    Celebrity Boarding Requirements:

"All guests must present a negative RT-PCR test taken 72 hours prior to arrival to St Maarten."

Does this mean that if you are staying on the island pre-cruise  you do NOT need to obtain another RT-PCR test before departing on the ship?  Will the RT-PCR taken to obtain the Pre Approval to enter St Maartin be our only necessary test?

    Any thoughts?

  12. Just received a call back regarding my earlier emails.

First, she noted that for Travel Method on the St Maarten EHAS travel form to select Air Travel.

When you select "Air Travel" it does not open another window for the additional prompts such as, Departure Port, City, Vessel name, Marina name, Agent name, contact person, etc.

This individual also noted that this information (to select Air Travel) would be added to their webpage.

Secondly, the information sheet, "St Maarten Travel Requirements as of May 19, 2021" notes in the 3rd bullet point,

"At the terminal, all guests ages 2 and up are required to present negative RT-PCR test results taken

with 72 hours prior to boarding.  Negative test results required, and name on test results mush match

government issued identification and your cruise ticket."

It seems that many of us are arriving to St Maarten for a few days pre-cruise and I verbally inquired for clarification of the '72 hours test requirement' prior to boarding.  I asked if this will be a strict 72 hours so that we could make our additional Covid test on St Maarten at an appropriate time to be within this 72 hours time requirement for boarding.  She acknowledged my question and concerns and will follow up with me on this.

I had a very understanding, knowledgeable and responsive discussion from my email.

Hope to report back soon with more information regarding testing prior to boarding.

  13. Like many others in the CC community, I have questions regarding the required EHAS form and have sent an email to Celebrity asking for clarification on several of the items for Air-Sea Travel.  I'm also on hold with a Celebrity Supervisor on the phone while she is attempting to assist with several prompts including, Agent Name, Contact Person, etc.

In addition, on the Celebrity website they now have a new information sheet, "St Maarten Travel Requirements as of May 19, 2021."

  14. Stevena54, Have a wonderful time in St Maarten before your cruise.  St Maarten AKA 'the Friendly island" is lovely and we enjoyed all of the local people and their island culture.

I want to return to this posting and provide a few pictures from our respite on the island.  So many wonderful restaurants are still open with outdoor dining available and the snorkeling waters are clear with many colorful fish.  Whatever you choose to do, you'll have an enjoyable time!

  15. I want to add that we were required to show the 'printed copy' of our negative Covid results which were required for entry and then they received an official stamp by their officials.

Our stamps on the negative Covid results form are approximately the size of a half dollar and are printed with green ink.  On the circular part of the stamp it states, "SXM COVID STANDARD CERTIFICATION CLEARED."
