  1. I have 2 Scooters. A heavy duty one (I've had for years) and this one that I am posting. The heavy duty one has become too heavy for me and makes for traveling very difficult. The weight and size of it for cruises and airlines is almost impossible. I saw someone on a cruise last year with the below model and asked him about it. It even comes with a "back up battery" that stays on the scooter in case the 1st battery dies. The whole thing is only 30lbs!!!!! Even I can get it out of my car. I have taken it on 2 cruises so far and it is amazing. Sooo easy. I was not fortunate enough to get a HC cabin on my last cruise, so I just booked a standard cabin and guess what? Fits EASILY thru cabin doors without removing any parts. ....I am posting this because it is on SALE for the first time on Amazon at a GREAT price. I know how costly renting one is for cruises because I have done that also. If you have any questions...just let me know. I LOVE this scooter!!! https://www.amazon.com/SuperHandy-Folding-Mobility-Scooter-Upgraded/dp/B0BG3D18KW/ref=pd_rhf_se_s_pd_sbs_rvi_d_sccl_2_1/133-3647339-3252006?pd_rd_w=pAaNx&content-id=amzn1.sym.9c71db11-3b2f-49a1-9fef-afd524b20130&pf_rd_p=9c71db11-3b2f-49a1-9fef-afd524b20130&pf_rd_r=WFXPF2MMMXVQ9FWF1D5Z&pd_rd_wg=Z2nkX&pd_rd_r=660849e2-443d-49f5-83aa-786e5c1ac5b6&pd_rd_i=B0BG3D18KW&psc=1
  2. Oh no!!! Thank you for the warning. Hopefully we won't need it.
  3. Loving your review!!! Is your mom boarding today?
  4. OH!!!! Thank you so much for the complete info!!!! VERY much appreciated!!!!! No quarters!
  5. It has been many years since I have been on a Carnival Cruise (15 Day to Hawaii) years ago. I remember washing 1 load of whites on this ship and I see the Pride has washing machines also. Back then, the machines required quarters. My Pride cruise for 14 Days, I MAY need to wash a load of whites also. Do the machines still require quarters?
  6. Who did you ask? Guest Services said they don't have them.
  7. We just got back from our 1st cruise since before the pandemic hit. We returned to our beloved OASIS. We had a WONDERFUL time...but were disappointed that RCCL no longer leaves the Cruise Compass on your bed every evening. They don't even have them at Guest Services!!! Not everyone has or relies on their iphone. I have always carried that paper with me all day!!! If this is a "cut back"...then at least have some at Guest Services for those that want a tangible guide. Just my opinion.
  8. Does anyone remember Jim and Judith? (Trainman) Yes...I know he passed away...but we loved him. I followed all of his reviews...and we finally got to meet them on the Oasis. Best time EVER. We spent the whole week with them.
  9. So difficult to choose...but it would have to be on The RCCL Explorer to Bermuda. Why? Because it was my new husband's very first cruise and I was PETRIFIED he wouldn't enjoy cruising as much as I do. His words to me on day 3....."I have never felt so relaxed in my life" Hence....dozens of cruises followed. He is addicted.
  10. Can someone tell me the name of the "specialty" coffee shop on the PRIDE which is included in the drink package. Thank you!!
  11. Hello my friends. I am not a newbie and have been on MANY cruises and all different cruise lines....BUT I have never been to Alaska. Does one cruise line do it "better" than another to Alaska or are they all pretty much the same.
