  1. So, I booked a Future Cruise Deposit on Royal Caribbean while on the Brilliance last month (did you know that you can "swipe left" while on your cruise app and do that while seated at the Schooner Bar with a glass of wine in your hand? A tad too easy lol).  We are on the Connie in April. I would like to use that deposit for a 2023 cruise on the Brilliance and also book the b2b cruise after it while on the Connie.  Can I use that deposit that way or do I need to book that leg before or after I'm on the ship????? Thanks.

That’s what I’m bidding on for the April 8 Connie.  Could you possibly pls share your winning bid? Thanks.

  3. I've searched and come up with nothing, although I am sure this was a topic in the past.  Isn't there a bag that folks have used for their $$, phones, IDs and cruise cards that locks to their chair, enabling enjoying the water without someone sitting out to watch the "stuff"?? I see a Vaultz money bag with lock on Amazon for $26 and wonder if that's it or close to it?

    Thanks,

Reflection definitely does, and I had a few glasses of vino there last night. But the guy serving said it was the only one left in the fleet, and was pretty sure it was being converted next drydock.

The Constellation still has a Cellar Masters.  Loved it.

Tonto Linda you can pay it forward by doing a reconnaissance on Constellation for

    1. Elemis Frangipani oil in the Spa

    2. L' Occitan products in the cosmetic shop, specifically Immortelle eye and face creams.

Not going till Feb, but at least I can get an idea.

    Thanks

At long last, I tore myself away from the casino, Cafe Al Bacio, Blu, our balcony, the Solarium, the Future Cruise Desk, the Oceanview Cafe, the Martini Bar, Cellar Masters, Reflections - well, you get the drift.
At this point, no Immortelle eye or face creams, although there are other L’Occitan products. (Interestingly, no cosmetics are sold on the ship - no lipsticks or makeup).  The Spa has the Elemis Frangipani body oil for $56.

We have loved he ship - no complaints about anything at all and the level of service has been amazing.  Capt Theo is around the ship and friendly, a la Capt Kate.  Enjoy !

Given the choice to stick up for someone who can't stick up for themselves (as in crew being berated) or "minding my own business" in that same scenario, I definitely do not mind my own business.

The only way to stop people who have probably spent their whole lives looking down upon or berating others who are doing every thing they can to please them, is to give them pushback.  Crew can not, given their or good surveys.  I, on the other hand, can and will.

On our July Edge sailing, the only person we saw complaining about ANYTHING was a woman who showed up at Luminae at 10:45 AM for breakfast with her family in tow (the restaurant had closed at 9) and was incensed that they couldn't be served breakfast.  She wasn't satisfied with the options offered (room service, etc) as she demanded (yes) to be served while seated.  She stormed away, yelling that she would never book Celebrity again and added a few choice descriptions of the Edge.  Other than that, I have never been on a cruise (and we have been on a lot) that had the same amazingly happy and upbeat atmosphere - the synergy, perhaps, of cruise-starved cruisers and work-starved crew? Don't know, but it sure was one of the best, most incredible weeks ever.

  8. We've sailed on the Brilliance a number of times and have always had a shower curtain (non-suite cabins).  I bring heavy-ish binder clips to attach to the bottom of the curtain, which keeps it from sticking to oneself in the shower, and keeps it in place so water doesn't go all over floor (the latter at least most of the time).  Love the ship though I do, I would be really thrilled if they installed the plastic/glass shower doors and changed the shower heads so they aren't like a garden hose. (I guess what I am really thrilled about is even having any of these discussions.  It's be a really long time.....

    Cheers, all !
