Hello!
If you’re new to Seabourn and have booked your cruise to sail with them before the middle of August 2023, I am happy to supply you with a referral that gives us both $250 of on board credit. It’s a simple process, just e-mail me at johnrstockton at gmail dot com and we can get it set up.
I might still have a $400 referral coupon too, but will need to check the beginning of April when we are back home. I think I do, but don't want to over-promise. -

1) is the mailing address for the coupon 300 Elliott Ave or 450 Third Avenue West these days?
2) I only have the old $400 coupons. Would they be accepted for the latest $250 referral program?completed.

Just booked, so looks like I can't get a newbie credit.
Anybody have the email address for the CCL stock credit?

Does Princess offer any sort of new to line referral credit?
Does Princess offer OBC if you have more than 100 shares of Carnival stock?
Thanks.

I'd assume the ACD would have to cancel his hosted dinners after he was let go. Perhaps you meant the guest (i.e. plaintiff) cancelled his hosted dinners?
Yes.

I think you meant to write "defendant" instead of "plaintiff" in your two sentences above.
In any case, the complaint document stated that the guest boarded in Cape Town (where that segment had started on March 5th, 2019), and so the guest must have been booked for quite a lengthy cruise. There is also no indication in the document that the guest was traveling with a companion, so most likely he was a solo traveler. As we all know, there are usually not many male solo passengers on Seabourn, let alone ones on a lengthy segment. So the guest was likely a retiree enjoying a quasi world cruise (Seabourn wasn't doing "World Cruises" during that season). What a terrible way to have to prematurely end a wonderful vacation.
No, I meant plaintiff in this case who is the guest. He is one suing Seabourn et al. The guest was not traveling with a companion for several reasons that I will not go into here. He was not a retiree. He was on for the 36 days from CT to Singapore, but left the ship prematurely after the incident.
-
We were on at the time this alleged incident occurred and know of both parties.
There definitely was an incident at the time as there was a security officer stationed outside the plaintiff's cabin for several days with no one allowed in. Then the plaintiff was off the ship and all his scheduled events such as hosted dinners were cancelled.
It was also strange that someone would come on board as an asst CD and who was seemingly unfamiliar with Seabourn's ways and then suddenly be promoted to CD on another ship and leave the ship mid-cruise. They had to scramble to replace him.

Yes, the falls are worth it and one needs to do both sides. We stayed at the Belmond inside the park which was quite convenient.

Seabourn was taken over before your 2016/17 cruises. If you liked it then, you'll like it now as nothing has really changed.

Overnight in a port is used by Seabourn to:
1) offer extended overnight excursions
2) allow extra time for loading provisions and fuel
3) crew changes

Port Terminal is connected to Sannomiya Station by Port Liner new transit system (a sort of automated train).

We disembarked there two years ago and it was quite easy. Cute little automated train. With the Sannomiya Station connection you can stay anywhere. I personally recommend staying in Kyoto rather than Kobe. You can checkout in Kyoto, grab one of the numerous trains and be in Kobe in an hour. Can't board until noon, so might as well stay someplace nice! 🙂

I am getting seriously fed up of Seabourn's useless website.
I have followed all of the steps above in order to try to set up suite preferences, a procedure that I previously used to complete in about 15 seconds. I am unable to get access suite preferences. The only 'preferences' I can access are those where the SB club benefits are nominated.
Here are the steps as best as I remember them for my iPad:
—> main Web site and go to lines in the upper right corner
—> select Booked Guests
—> choose Online Guest Registration - where you fill in all the passenger info for the ePass
—> Benefits and Preferences (icon looks like a hotel reception bell)(icon is second from the right)

Did you take a taxi from the airport to the pier? If so, how organized is the luggage to the taxi Que with the main terminal closed?
This was 4 years ago. We were staying on the island for a few days ahead of the cruise and had just returned the rental car to the airport. Took a taxi back to the port — totally uneventful. Can't comment on the current taxi queue situation, so ask in TripAdvisor to reach a larger viewership.

My recollection is that Seabourn did not provide a shuttle due to the taxi union. There is very little around the deep sea port.
Yes, I was afraid of that. Thanks.

Does Seabourn offer a shuttle when docked in Phuket? And if so, where does it drop people?
It looks like we dock at the deep sea port.
Thanks,
John

We just took a taxi to the pier. No worries.

Well, fellow Cruise Critic contributors, I am booked on the SB Odyssey from December 1-8 for a Caribbean cruise. As per my earlier post in this thread, I wonder what the vibe will be in terms of party-party vs. a more reserved atmosphere (but still fun). I do prefer a somewhat more relaxed, mature vibe due to my (ahem) advanced years (59 this year!). But I wanted to try one of the smaller 3 Sisters ships in the SB line to see how they compare to my experiences on The Ovation and The Encore both of which I absolutely loved.
So, we shall see...and I will post upon my return to share my thoughts.
Cheers!
From a fellow 6ixer - you'll be just fine! We did a 7+7 there a few years ago and it was great. Nice to see some islands that you might not normally get to and assess their potential for a longer stay in the future. Jenidallas describes it perfectly.

Maybe Seabourn should try a “Pepsi vs. Coke” with another comparable champagne and see what the passengers prefer.
I'd be up for it! :)

Thank you so very much for all your advice/information. Travelled with a printout of your post and just returned home. Such good info. Many thanks.
And how was your first Seabourn cruise?

So Father Christmas will be able to fund a new carbon road bike for me, a trip to Cartier for Mrs Able Seaman and Emily's first years accommodation at university :) :)

We walked around the downtown area in Manila and also did a Shopping with the Chef there. Was busy, but no problems.
