Exactly. A bottle is over 3 oz. Can't carry it on an airplane. And no time for shuffling stuff to other suitcases when we got there.

I had planned on doing that, but NCL booked our flights and the arrival time was cutting it close. Our flights were delayed and we were very rushed getting off the plane, to the shuttle, and to the port. They were practically herding us. No time for rearranging.

Got off the Pearl August 19. We had the drink package, so I brought a bottle of wine to have in my cabin. This is my experience: 1) DH Luggage arrived quickly, but mind was very late. In my luggage was a note in place of the bottle of wine saying that I must pay a corkage fee before I can have the wine back. 2) I went to guest services the next morning with the note and asked why I had to pay the corkage fee if I have the beverage package. He agreed that I did not and called the Beverage manager to retrieve my wine. 3) The beverage manager came to guest services and asked me to describe my wine. He told me that he would give it to my room steward and have it delivered to my cabin. 4) About 2 hours later, the wine was delivered to my cabin. Now, I was happy with the final result. But it seems to me that they could have saved a lot of trouble if they had just checked to see if I had the beverage package.

If not, it's easy enough to take down - just a magnet. And it's just first names, so not sure why it would be a big deal? I've read that some travel agents will make pictures of everyone in their group and put their FACES on the door. Now that would be weird for me.

That's fun! I might just do that, too! I bought a pack of magnetic paper and need to use it for something!

They're fun! You can leave notes for your friends/family. Or tell them where you're going - "Headed to ...for breakfast". You can buy magnetic ones - especially now when kids are getting stuff for their lockers.

I read on a website that NCL no longer allows door decorations? Does anyone have experience with this? I usually make an 8" x 10" magnetic sign with our names on it for our doors. We are cruising with 2 other couples and I made a sign for each cabin. Is this not allowed? What about dry erase boards? I find that they are helpful in keeping track of people, leaving notes for friends when we are headed out somewhere. Thanks for your help!

The rep told me they could. And my husband and I have different flights on the same reservation (mine is extended, his is not). But on my friend's, they extended both their flights. It just sucks that if they make a mistake, there's no way to fix it. She has the email documentation of what they requested and the rep saying that they could do it. Now there's no response at all from him. Very annoying.

We are cruising with 2 other couples. Me and one of the other wives asked to extend our flights 2 days for a "Girls Trip". They got mine right, but booked her and her husband for two days later. She's tried to get it changed, but no luck. Our NCL rep won't answer emails or call back. So our girls trip has now turned into me being a 3rd wheel. 🙄

Thanks so much for continuing to answer questions about your cruise! I have one more - Was there a Glow party/White Hot party on the ship? I see that there is a "White Hot" party excursion in Bermuda. As a past NCL cruiser, I loved the White Hot parties and don't want to miss it. But if there is one during a sea day I'd rather go to that than pay for a Bermuda excursion when I could be doing something else in Bermuda.

Did you check out the St. George Ferry? Do you know the schedule? We go out on the Pearl 8/12 and want to visit St. George/Tobacco Bay the day we dock. We have a group of 6 adults, so want to do a bit of pre-planning. We don't want to get to St. George and be unable to find transportation back to the ship later that evening. Thanks!

Do you know the times it ran? We were wanting to head to St. George on Sunday when we dock (NCL Pearl arriving in Bermuda 8/14). We don't want to get there and not have a ride back.
