I'm inclined to believe the Brooklyn episode in 2022 was one-off due to the extensive COVID paperwork requirements at that time and perhaps a shortage of porters, but I would like to hear from any recent Brooklyn QM2 boarding passengers that luggage delivered to room as done in Southampton is back.

Question re luggage at embarkation point in Brooklyn. Is there normally a porter setup as at Southhampton and LeHavre? We are booked for the QM2 Caribbean cruise in late November and hope we can avoid repeating our February 2022 QM2 boarding in Brooklyn -- standing in a long line outside, followed by a long standing wait inside, followed by a trudge dragging our suitcases up ramps to the entry point into the ship and then to our stateroom. Can we look forward to a smoother entry this time?

The plot thickens. Got an email this morning that our BV stateroom on deck 5 is changed despite our no upgrade/change request. Apparently they will be using a block of midships rooms on deck 5 for quarantine. No ID of our new location. I can't see them moving quarantine from 5 forward to the center of the ship so this would seem to be an expansion of quarantine space. We'll see...

Received email this morning with same language as GolfingBarbie for M229F transatlantic departing Le Havre for NYC on September 16. There must be a Hamburg segment between 9/11 and 9/16, thus a "complex" itinerary, though why that requires an antigen test and a plain transatlantic does not escapes me.
