  1. We visited Ensenada in May 2022 on the Carnival Miracle. We hired a private driver for the two of us for the day, lunch included. He took us to Las Canadas to zipline and to La Bufadora to see the blowhole. (If you don't like suspension bridges that are set up in non-conventional ways, the zip lining may not be for you.) Having this tour guide helped us when we walked the gauntlet at La Bufadora. The vendors left us alone for the most part. When it came to food (it smelled delicious), he also recommended which vendors to try and which ones to stay away from. We ordered up a huge stuffed clam at one of them, and he had a gentleman come and serenade us with his guitar while we ate. Lunch was 3 tacos (they were huge) of our choice and a soft drink. Being in Ensenada, the birthplace of fish tacos, we had to try them. They didn't disappoint. After lunch, we asked him to play tour guide. Show us his favourite parts of his home town. We were full, and not in a hurry to get back to the ship. He came to life. He was so excited to take us to his favourite store to get tequila at non-inflated prices. He brought us to his favourite restaurant (another taco joint) for a mid-afternoon snack. The tour was booked on viator, and the name was "Las Canadas ecopark and Bufadora private tour". Ask for Eric!
  2. For what it's worth, We booked our cruise back in June, and they informed us back then that they hired a company to revamp their website, and it would be one to two weeks before it was running normally. Almost 5 months later...we still hear that when we call them. They have to be getting tired of hearing from us. We call them anytime we have questions about something on the website that we are interested in that brings up a blank link when we click on it. Hopefully it gets fixed soon...ish?
  3. Thanks Stan. That's all we needed to know!
  4. 2 Canadians here and we are booked on the 3 continent cruise on 3 December 2022 and have been in the process of getting our entry visas for Egypt set up. When filling out the application it started asking questions regarding the name, phone number, and email address of our host in Egypt. I called the 1-800 number on Celestyal's website to get the required info (namely the email address) and was informed by the gentleman that answered the phone that we don't need to worry about visas. The cruise line takes care of all of that for us. He was relieved we didn't waste the money ourselves. Celestyal's website, and our ticket, says differently, though. The website states it's up to us to contact our embassy and get our entry paperwork, including visas. My wife is worried that if we follow the employee's advice, we will be up a certain creek with no paddle. Can anyone who has sailed this cruise recently confirm or deny this employee's claim, or provide the required info needed to fill out the application ourselves? Thanks Jason
