Harmony also has Cafe Promenade, Sorrentos, and Park Cafe.  If you limit yourself the windjammer and Mini Bites, that's on you, not on Royal.

Relax. Just shared my impression of venues which are only available for a charge compared to Carnival. The amount might be same, my impression is that the included part seems more appealling on Carnival. Sandwiches and pizza in other outlets is not a big value for me. Also I pointed out Windjammer and mini bites, because this is pretty weak for a pool deck and such a sized ship.We still decid for RCCL and I assume we won't regret, since we enjoyed every single cruise with them.

Johnny Rockets is an absolute waste for paid dining. It should be included with your RCL cruise fare (except for the milkshakes and other beverages of course). Guy's Burgers is included with your Carnival cruise and those are tasty.

I indeed noticed again that Carnival offers much more included venues than RCCL and also, paid dining is priced much more reasonable.

We decided for RCCL again since we are very loyal and cruised only once with carnival 15 years ago. We'll see how our experience will be after 6 years being away and can still simply reconsider with every cruise... Not that JR is the deal breaker, but it adds up...

Ok, legit question here. (Don't slam me). I'm someone who puts my stuff on a chair and then spend hours at a time in the water. If your actually in the water, you are using the chair because you are present at that time. Also over 50 so go to bathroom a lot. Do people and crew removing towels look to see if anyone is in pool or hot tub first? Also, what happens to shoes, bags, and room cards? (The stuff I leave on my seat). Just concerned about not having to have a seat in view of pool.

Oh I should add I'm a spend all day at the pool person. Inside cabin so when I'm on deck and out in fresh air I'm all day.

Well I would say if you are in the pool for hours, permanently, you can put your stuff on a bench next to the pool. Chairs are for people not for stuff. Common sense, a "less than hours" dip in the pool, bathroom visits or even a on the go snack from pool deck outlets is no chair hogging...
