I saw a post on FB today for the Volendam (I think) leaving Boston this Saturday a 50% refund to move to lanai or a 100% refund to move to an unobstructed OV room.

The aft Neptunes are SC on Zuiderdam and the cabins are configured a bit differently from SA Neptunes and are a bit smaller but IMO the wrap balconies more than makeup for floor space.
The aft cabins are SB,, not SC. They are my favorite rooms.

I did upgrade from the included wifi the first day. It wasn’t much. I was getting nowhere with the basic level. The husband was fine with the included. He is more business email and sport score. I was insta and FB

What's a computer glitch? Is it the same as a gremlin?
From what the CSR people say, it sounds like a systemic problem. Insufficient funds for IT infrastructure? Incompetent cheap contractor? Forgot to pay the bills? Never heard of a problem like this in the past, or with any other brand.
Every organization has its strengths and weaknesses. Good and bad days. What matters is the trajectory! 🥸
Of course, failing brands have loyal customers to keep them going a little longer! 😍
If you’ve never heard of such glitches I know you don’t own in Marriott Vacation Club. Pretty sure they have a neighborhood kid computer club run their website.

Dive In is a nice choice. If you're early enough, you can try the main dining room.
In Z in the fall there was no MDR lunch.

While my situation was different, I want to say that the group had very many folks that sound similar to you and everyone got along ok. The land portion isn’t too long and you can choose excursions that suit your own needs.
I hope you’ll take the trip you planned. Alaska is a special place.

Did you take the bike tour last year?

How long ago did you reserve? Up to two months can just be transferred to your agent of choice for the savings by filling out a form

My first was 1989. I was 23 I think. On the Sky Princess right after it had been purchased from Sitmar. The pens still had the previous company on them.

The concierge has exchanged various free bottles for me. You shouldn’t have any trouble.

I wonder if I can bring along my temp controlled coffee mug? It would come in handy on those cold ship days sitting on the balcony or out on deck as it keeps any drink hot for hours.
The cup itself has a long lasting battery that sits on a charging dock that plugs into an outlet.
I missed my Ember so much last trip. Sat in bed early with my coffee in a regular cup and it was cold so quickly. I swear these are the best invention ever.

I can't make reservations for any dining. The website keeps saying "no venues available." The website in general sucks.
That is for specialty dining venues. They open closer to your trip. If you are trying to choose Fixed Main, Fixed Late or Anytime Dining, have your travel agent add it if you have one, or call HAL reservations if you booked online to have it noted

Page 1 of the food. It has a box around it.
Some advice on the bacon - you want it to be candied & crispy. I'm not even sure how to order it. (Hard caramelized?) We had some come out a little like syrup-dipped bacon. It was not great. The coating needs a bit of a crunch.
Whew. Thank you. And yes, it should not be drippy!

You would so much more value from a Chase Sapphire card, Reserve or Preferred. Your 25000 points for $250 beverage card could have been a RT ticket to Hawaii. And, Chase protects you. Fraud is handled immediately. They provide $10,000 per person of travel insurance per trip, lounge access and if if book travel through their portal each point is worth 1.5.

I think the 10% is no more. Still discounted, but not at the 10% rate

I have had deck 4 aft rooms on this class of ship numerous times and I have NEVER heard anything from the dining room. The verandah is much deeper than other decks. I absolutely love deck 4 and am sorry the aft corners on it were sold out already on my next trip.

My cards were not ready but the bartenders at lunch were more than happy to take the order on paper. No problem at all.
Once our cards arrived they actually didn’t work. The concierge had to get new ones brought up.

They are the smaller pods - not the Vertuo we have at home - if you have the original espresso capsules, they would work! 🙂
I was told by someone here they would not work. I hoped to do the same, bring the tradition Nespresso capsules but someone said it was a different, propriety, machine. Oh I hope you are correct

Yes. I’d cover my head with a pillow to speak quietly at 4 am or so. Meet him at the door when he VERY lightly tapped and just carry it in myself.
