Hi POA1
Hope Poohby's well?
Were you standing on a balcony of an appartment block near where the ships exit the port with a woman, waving a HAL flag on the 17th December when the Eurodam sailed out of port?
-
Ack! you can't leave it at that. You have to tell us which ones and, eventually, how you liked them! :D
If I'm not to squiffy:wine-glass::wine-glass:

Thank you for all the great advice. I have found a few of the recommendations here in the UK, so I will sample them. If I don't like I will ask the staff at Total Wines

Thanks for all the replies, I will take some with me just in case.

He's doing well. He's sporting a little Santa suit for the holidays.
I chose the 5,000 cases number so that you'd have an easier time finding the wines. I did not cross reference to the Total Wine inventory, but you can do it on on their site.
Awwwwwwwww, he so cute, who's his little friend?

Thanks for the replies. At home I normally buy Austrailian Chardonnay for some reason. I don't like dry white wine. My husband doesn't drink, it will only be me. I don't know if I will want wine everynight as I would like to sample the cocktails. I'm not a big drinker, so I'm wondering if it would be better to buy by the glass. I don't want to end up taking bottles of wine back to the UK.

Hello
I believe it can be quite chilly in certain areas of the ship. Is it cold enough to wear panteyhose(tights) with a dress?
Thanks
Going to the Caribbean in 2 weeks

I think they are called a Manta Sun Shelter. Can you put them anywhere on the beach?

Hello
Just wondering if they just put the surname on the beverage cards or full name?
Thanks

Hello
I have already booked the Tamarind Restaurant for a couple of nights on my up and coming cruise.
I was thinking of trying Canaletto on the first night, but understand that it can be noisy due to the Lido. Would 8.00pm be an ok time to book to miss most of the noise?

Hi
Cruise Critic will be on a ship calling on St. Thomas on Wednesday, so I think we will have a good idea what to expect after that

Hello
I know we are having 4 Gala Nights which I think I am correct on assuming will be on our sea days, which I intend to dress up on. Just wondering if they treat Christmas Eve/Day as special as at home if we got out we always dress up. so I'm just wondering if we will look out of place dressed up on the Eurodam.
Thanks

Hello
I was under the impression that HAL ships berth at Crown Bay St Thomas. I have just had a look at VI now and it says West Indian Company Dock which I think is Havensight. Is this likely to be correct?

Hello
Going to be in San Juan apparantly on the 27th December. I was going to have a beach day and local food, but now I am wondering if there will be any restaurants open near the beaches or anywhere to hire a sun lounger. Now wondering if I would be better booking a resort day pass. Any thoughts please
-
Thanks. Looks like a combition of steam and hairdryer then

Thanks, I'll just have to stay wrinkley then as I don't have much luck with those wrinkle sprays. Although I have just found a spray you can make yourself which supposedly works.
Loved the Eurodam

Sailed on the Eurodam 17th Dec to 31st Dec and can honestly say the cruise exceeded my expections, I am now hooked and cannot wait to sail again.
The service was excellent, the staff were all cheerful and polite and the food was very good to excellent(I am a very fussy eater). I absolutely loved sea days.
I was put off going after reading negative threads on these boards but I am glad I went :D
