  1. Oh yeah that's right 1.5 months, I have 2 months on my mind because that's when I'm on her.

The fact the big TV and pool are now in shows that the exterior is done. If you think about it, with 100's of workers, they can definitely get the interior done as it's all prefabricated, they just need to screw it into place! Nothing is really built on the ship, it's all done in warehouse and then the crane drops it into place!

  2. Ditto - one of the main reasons I would not do an inaugural cruise - you never know if the ship will actually be ready and running at 'full speed'!

I remember the same thing happened with the Sunshine - when I believe the first 2 cruises were 'cancelled' due to inability to have the ship ready on time!!!

That was a slightly different situation.

The Carnival Sunshine was not a new build, it was a conversion and they had VERY little time to complete it.

  3. May 1st is listed but there doesn't seem to be any cabins available for booking.

Guess now no one can roll the dice and book a room on May 1st with the belief Carnival will cancel that cruise. Everyone that had booked would get their money back and I'm sure some future cruise credit.

You could get a future cruise credit for nothing or lose your money.

The Inaugural has been disappearing and reappearing many times over the last few months.

  4. Hey everyone!

Just wondering if you could tell me which chips have the new meuns currently and if anyone has links or pictures of them?

I am going to be sailing on the Breeze on 31st May for a 6 day cruise from Miami.

    Thanks!
