Normally those cabins cannot be booked online. I would be curious how you could do that. Even on the Royal Caribbean website you have to call. We have cabin 8500 for a cruise in February and we have 6 people. I have heard if the sailing is close and still available they will allow less than 5.

No, but they reserve the right to cut you off if you become abusive or dangerous to yourself or others.
Several people on another RC discussion forum reported getting cut off at 15 or 16 a day but I wonder if they were suspected cheaters....

Smooth Sailing on Enchantment Feb 17 2014 Bahamas- photo review

That was one of our complaints about our recent Freedom cruise... we felt there should have been more "free" dining venues.
Rumor has it Freedom is getting one new complimentary restaurant and 2 new specialty restaurants while in dry dock in January by eliminating the 3rd level of the MDR.

For 35 we loved it! The champagne was cheap and the snack was a bag of Wise potato chips that most people didn't even take but that didn't bother uso. I have tried a few times to post pics but it won't work from my phone. The views were amazing and there were only about 20 people on it. Just as an FYI a few people complained about the walk from the ship to the catamaran. We thought it was fine but other people thought that they deserved an air conditioned bus
That sounds fine with us. We love the views and just sailing. And walking won't bother us. Thanks!

Can't wait for your review! We are planning similar activities in Nassau on Enchantment in December minus the beach. I was wondering how the sunset catamaran sail was. We love those and $35 looked like a good deal and a fun thing to do before dinner.

We saw it at a sneak peek and it is a good movie! I hope you will get to see it on the ship. My boys will be thrilled to be able to see it again on Freedom next February !

My cruise was cancelled for 1/25/15. They told me dry dock. The whole month was cancelled, not just middle, so I hope they do more than just fix the thrusters. Heard she could use a little TLC in some spots. We re-booked for 2/8 and got $200 OBC.

Perfect review! So many people would have written a purely negative review if they had experienced what you did! That is what I call 'rolling with the punches!' I love the Enchantment too. I sailed her in 1999 when she was very new, then after the stretch, and now have her booked (in a JS) in December and then I will be Diamond (after almost 17 years of cruising!) The Rhapsody hooked me! Welcome to the Crown and Anchor Club!

We are booked in 8500 on FOS for a Feb cruise. People keep saying 8200 is better, but from what I have seen, 8500 has real doors on the Master BR (a huge plus in my book), plus the kid's bunk bed room doesn't have all of the wasted space that 8200 has plus has a window (room has 4 vs 3 or 2 in other FO rooms). We have 6 people booked in this room and first and second were under $1000 and 3-6th were $399 so it was really a good deal.

I hope you filled out the survey with your complaints. Seems like a lot of those things could be fixed if they knew it annoyed people. We are going on the 4 day in December. First time in a JS (deck 8) and we will then be a Diamond so I am sure we will have a good time. The drink package will also help ;).
HI We have been twice and did not care for the ship to the point that we will not go on her again. Even though she is 45 minutes from us. We are loyal to Royal and have loved every other ship we have been on,... we cruise alot only 12 points to Diamond!, but Enchantment just has a weird layout so need to be very careful where your cabin is located. Had a GS and heard WJ carts at 5AM. Had a OV panoramic cabin heard centrum noise till 2AM. We also don't care for the fact that the solarium pool is chlorinated, thus very strong chlorine smell in solarium. The sail away party music just way to loud... Could not escape it even on the bow of the ship. It was a deafening to the point we could not hold a conversation. Regular things on other ships not available, like decaf tea and hot cocoa, at least on our sailings. We loved Monarch, so it is not the size of the ship and love Freedom and Brilliance. Decided this one is just not for us, everyone else seems ok with it. We miss Monarch, she was our quick way to get to the beach at Coco Cay for a week end, now we have lost that. Enchantment no can do..... -
The $60 does include a $40 food and beverage credit though, correct?

Loved your review! We are going on this cruise 1/25/15, so exactly a year later :) Our boys will be 4 and 6 and it will be their first cruise. I was very excited to see all of the CCs and AO daily planners. Our cruise stops in St Thomas instead of San Juan. Thanks again for your great pictures and all of the cruise details! Your kids are adorable!

where can the premium drink packages be purchased? I don't see them offered on royalcaribbean.com....
Only offered on the ship right now.

Assuming it will also include drinks consumed on the private islands, we will probably try it out on our upcoming 3 Day Indy Cruise. A coke here or there. 2 or 3 frozen goodies during the day, a couple of glasses of wine before, during and after dinner, and then a few while watching a show or gambling will more than pay for it. Will be nice to know our bar bill up front! Just wish coffee was included like on Celebrity.

Keep in mind that Freedom will be refurbished again soon and will be quite different in 2015, especially if the rumors are true that the third level of the MDR is being changed to 3 new restaurants and they might test dynamic dining on the Freedom. The Broadway show is also changing to Hairspray.
