so she gets there and someone actually follows the rules and NO ONE goes on this cruise because "this thinking" died out....

we were asked for the notarized letter, we had it, we all went on the cruise...please ignore people who think the rules don't apply to them....better safe than sorry....have your letters, enjoy your cruise

I was just thinking about this on my cruise on the Miracle a couple of weeks back. Every night they greeted us in the hallway right outside the dining room and asked to see our cards. Some nights they would then direct us to the line where they ask for your room# at the podium, while other nights they then asked for our room # right there, wrote it down, and gave a table# to the hostess (not even using the check-in podium.)

 

It felt kind of strange instead of just trusting us. This was YTD, however.

I have no preference about ship size and since I do not own a cruiseline, have no problem with the owners deciding what to do with THEIR ships! I love every ship I have and will cruise on!
