Can you tell me more about the Terrazza rooms ? Is this similar to the Havana rooms on other ships ? What was the special Terrazza brunch like ? How different was it from the brunch I. The MDR ?

I have not been on the Magic yet, but my husband and I board it next Saturday. I booked it because it is supposed to be exactly like the Dream, which we loved. We chose it because it has the best spa area of any of the Carnival ships. We get a spa cabin and thoroughly enjoy everything it has from the thassolopia pool to the heated loungers that look out at the ocean to every other quiet, peaceful spot in the spa. It is a totally relaxing place and as someone said, if you don’t book a spa cabin, buy the day passes. Completely worth it !!

I found a shuttle service saying they go from ground terminal in the Sanford airport to Port Canaveral. Do you think this is legit. They quoted $70 round trip. Would I be better using Uber ?

Sanford airport is near nothing and there are no hotels nearby and no regular shuttle services. You will need to schedule a shuttle. On the bright side, I love Sanford airport compared to MCO. Does go port.com have I formation about the Sanford airport ? Would it be better to try to get from the Sanford airport back to the Orlando airport to pick up Carnival’s shuttle ?

The rates were relatively inexpensive considering considering all of the transportation it includes.

I can’t wait to read your review, Jamman ! I love all the information you give and all of Patti’s pictures ! We sail on Feb. 25 on the Magic and will be going to Bonnair, which is a new port for us. Do you still have to be tested before sailing ? We are vaccinated.  

We are sailing on Feb.25 on the Magic out of Port Canaveral and we will be flying in to the Orlando/Sanford airport. Does anyone have any hotel recommendations for a hotel that could shuttle us from the airport to the hotel ? Also, does Carnival have a shuttle to take people from the Orlando/Sanford airport to the ship ?  Thanks for any help. Our trip is coming quickly  !

I have always wanted to visit the Titanic Cemetery . My family lived in the country and my grandfather, who was a young man, was called in to help dig the graves for those poor people. My husband and I are going on a cruise next September that will stop in Halifax and I hope to be able to see the cemetery then. I am an old lady now, but this is my dream.

Jamman, I click on the Mardi Gras in your signature where it lists all your cruises, but it won’t take me anywhere. What am I doing wrong ? I even tried to do a search of Mardi Gras, but too many results came up to make it feasible to check them all out. Is there a quick way I can access your Mardi Gras review ? Help, please !

It is so good to see one of your reviews again!  I really missed them. You and Patti do an  excellant job writing these. Have you cruised on the Mardi Gras yet ? I am anxious to read what you thought about her ! Thank you for taking the time to do this.

We were on the Sunshine and I was so excited for this cruise ! We booked way in advance and we’re looking forward to the special things, like the midnight buffet, the fireworks, the special throw back menus and throw back activities, as well as the ship meet up. 
the only special thing that happened was the ship meet up, which was late happening, but very cool to see. We enjoyed watching all six ships meet up and we could hear the horn of one other ship faintly. 
i was very disappointed that no other special things happened. They said the Baked Alaska was a throw back , but we have had that offered on the desert menu several times in the past five years. 
we turned platinum on this cruise and there was nothing special in our cabin to recognize that. I was disappointed about that, too. We will keep cruising with Carnival, but just won’t get too hyped up about anything in the future. 

We have gotten spa cabins several times, because we enjoy the thermal suites and all the rooms in the spa. When we were on the MG in Dec. we were in a spa cabin and I was very disappointed. Like the poster said, the thermal pool was small and the noise level was terrible. Since the heated loungers were in the same room as the pool, there was no  view of the ocean. I would never take a spa cabin or even do a day pass for the spa on the MG. 

We are sailing out of Charleston for the first time onMarch 7 and I was wondering how you found where to park. Can we put Charleston terminal in our Google maps ? I want to use the map to get us from here in TN to the port, but not sure what to put as our destination. Thanks for any info. We will certainly have to wait for a shuttle, because there is no way my husband could walk that far.

How do I get the stock credit ? I bought stock just after Covid started, but haven’t used it yet.

We just did our first B2B on the Mardi Gras Dec. 4 and Dec.11 and it was great ! They did a free COVID test on us the last full day. They had certain hours for it and it was quick and easy ! On the day when everyone was debarking, we were told to go to one of the restaurants and we waited there till someone lead us off the ship and then back on the ship . It went quickly even though there were probably 200 of us doing the B2B. I loved it ! 

We also are on the Sunshine out of. Hardest on for the sailabration ! That will be our first time out of Charleston, but it is so much closer for us from Asheville.

Nicole, I was so glad to find tour review ! You do an excellent job of helping us to see everything you were able to see and experience, plus, your pictures are fantastic ! We are supposed to be on two European cruises July of 2021. I only hope they don’t get cancelled ! You mentioned you had booked the Mardi Gras, may I ask when ? We are booked on her in December. Of 2021. We were supposed to be on her first two sailings, one from Copenhagen and the other her TA, however both of those got cancelled. Hope to see you sometime and again, thanks for this great review !!
