We are so excited, we just booked the Garden Villa 14000 for November 2015! I know its a long way off....but that will just add to the fun!

I know its 558 days until we sail, but we are so excited. We booked the Garden Villa to celebrate 2 big birthdays...My sister is turning 60 next Sept and my husband will be turning 70 while we are on-board. Can't wait to enjoy 7 wonderful days in our private villa! Any suggestions on what we should not miss, please let me know!

I just wanted to post a quick note about our sailing on the Dawn 4/13-4/20/2014. We were a group of 13 and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed meeting everyone at the CruiseCritic gathering which was attended by all of the dept heads and captain. Leonie Veith, Group Services went out of her way to make our gathering so nice! Myself and my fiance are both Platinum Latitude Members and we enjoy the extra perks that gets us. John D'souza our Concierge, was the best Concierge we have ever expierenced while on-board any ships not just NCL! Thank you again for going above and beyond to helping us with our group! We ate in both of the restaurants, and I have to say, we really enjoyed the Aqua Restaurant the food was good and the service was great. Our group also enjoyed going to LaCucina Restaurant one night, and the food and the service couldn't have been better.

Thank you everyone on-board the Dawn for making our cruise so enjoyable. I can't wait to sail with you again!

This is suppose to be a fun place to look up information and have a good time...I don't expect to have anyone from NCL to really look at this and grant us a phone call! I'm sorry if I sounded ungrateful for our previous luck on the Jade...You can bet I won't post anything on this sight again!

We are a group of 13 sailing on the Dawn...Does anyone know if it is possible to have a private cocktail party in one of the lounges, and if so...do you know who to contact, and/or price?

Hate to beg..but would love if the Upgrade/Upsell dept would call us for our April 13th cruise on the Dawn!

I'm happy to report that today I was able with the help of Michael at Travelocity, and a supervisor at NCL, we were able to get some of us moved together, at no additional price.

I really wish I could get us all together! We are a group of 13 sailing on the Dawn April 13, 2014 out of Tampa..we made the mistake of booking at different times and with different agents....(won't do that again). We are all booked in balcony cabins..but alll over the ship. I called our TA that booked 3 of the cabins to see if they could get us all together (there is a group of family balconys all in a row)...we were even willing to pay a extra to move...but was told we would lose our perks (obc and free dinners and such) if we moved....This is my 13th cruise with NCL, and I know its our fault...but it would have been so nice to be close to each other....I guess we should have planned this better!

We had 11062 (a mini suite) on our first trip on the Dawn. We loved it! If they want to upgrade you to that room, I would definitely take it. It was not noisy at all, and just one level up to the pool and buffet :). Enjoy your cruise. I love the Dawn!!

Also sailed on Dawns enclosed balcony. We loved it! It cuts down on the wind on sea days and does add extra privacy. I would def do it again. Relax and enjoy!

We now have 13 people sailing with us...all balcony cabins...but all over the ship! Maybe the upgrade fairy will look upon our little group, and try to get us all in row...all balcony, or mini-suites...etc! Guess next time, we'll wait until everyone is ready to book, and book all at once...so we can try to be closer together! Please upgrade fairy...help us out...(on cruise April 13-20, 2014 on the Dawn!

Thank you for the sharing your review and picture of the enclosed balcony! I'm a lot less stressed about it! (of course if the upgrade fairy seems fit to offer us an upgrade, I would be ok with that also! LOL!)

The first one is of the Dawn...the "hull balconies" are like the one with the red circle around it whereas the regular balconies are shown one deck up and to the left. The second one is of a hull balcony on the Pearl, looking out from the cabin.

Thanks for the information! I'm sure it will be ok! I just hate to find out just when we are paying our final payment...guess I should have researched it a little more! Live and learn!

I guess now I really will keep praying to the Upgrade fairy to bail us out!

Until today when I paid my final payment was I aware there was such a thing as an enclosed Balcony...has anyone sailed with one...and if so, what did you think? Should we try to get moved? Thanks in advance for any input!

We are booked on the Dawn 4/13/2014...we have 11 going right now (one 14 year old)

We sailed on the Dawn last year, and loved it...the food was great, the staff were wonderful and the other passengers were alot of fun....I would cruise alot more if I had the money...LOL!

I used to travel with my mom who didn't get around very well...We used to get her a scooter from Scoot-around...very reasonable...they will deliver it to the ship, and make things easier for her...

As for ports...

In Roatan,

We booked with Victor Brodden tours...(we have used him in the past, and have booked with him for our upcoming cruise in April. He can book what ever type of excursion you would like...private, join another group..etc! As for the Cameo factory that is also in Roatan...and yes they are beautiful, and Victor can add that to your excursion!

We sailed on NCL Sun back in 2011, and wasn't told it was an rock and roll oldies cruise..

They closed one of the bars to the other passengers and one night they took over the theater, and the pool area one day at sea for a beach music party! We just happened to have booked above the bar they closed for them, and the music went on every night until 2 or 3 in the morning...we asked to be moved, didn't happen....we then asked if since we had to listen to it thru the floor if we could go dance one night...of course we were turned away...

Now before I book any cruise, I ask if there are any big group or theme event!

This might be your first cruise...but if you are anything like the rest of us CruiseCrazy people...it won't be your last! ENJOY!
