And, our second room in addition to 4133 was another 4K obstructed interior between lifeboats. A few weeks before sailing we received an offer for a balcony on deck 7 for an additional $66 which we took, giving up the second 4K room. It was not obstructed. We never received a call but noticed the offer on our planner. We love the Spirit.

We had room 4133 on Spirit to Alaska. This was our view.

Two weeks before sailing last August on Players club offer we received offer moving from lowly obstructed balcony to an unobstructed balcony many decks up for $66. We quickly paid the $66.

Two weeks ago we went to Mendenhall Glacier via $60 each ship excursion. It was nice and easy; learned a lot from driver during transport. Our driver was a Michigan college student on summer break trained by Grayline Tours. The three hours were adequate for us and the bus let off right below Visitor Center with an elevator up available if desired. It poured the entire time and I probably spent only 20 minutes or so outside.
