We stayed 2 nts pre-cruise this past January. We really liked the hotel and location. We were upgraded (probably because Marriott Gold) to a corner room, which was phenomenal. The room itself was not that large, but it had a hallway leading down to the bathroom, so it had almost a 30' wall of windows. Even though we were on the NW corner, we still had a panoramic view of the ocean, and the intracoastal view the other way - fantastic. We ate at the place right across the street (waterway side) and highly recommend (I think it was called coconuts) - they often have food/wine specials so ask before you order.
I'm not sure where the noisy bar is but our room was very quiet, but we were there during the week.
Yes, it is called Coconuts. Very good food and a nice view of the waterway there. We eat there every time we stay at the hotel.
The corner rooms here are amazing especially the higher up rooms.

I stayed there in April of this year. Bubba Gumps there. Nice hotel. I would recommend without hesitation. Only issue is no transportation from/to the airport of cruise port.

Lol, I hope we are on the same ship, Reflection, 12/8/17.
That will be right after the Michigan win over that team south of Michigan.
I will be the guy wearing Maize And Blue.
Go Blue !!!
Btw, I'm Pete
Yep! Same sailing. Will see ya on the ship. We will take you guys again. Your cabin port or starboard? I believe we are starboard.
-
LOL, and I was about to say GO BLUE!!!!!! :D
Funny thing is I think we are sharing the same ship in December :) One might get starboard and the other port. :D

I think they block all usernames as yours :)... Sorry... Had to do it.

Is it possible to book 2 upcoming cruises while on a sailing and receive OBC for both cruises? I wasn't sure if it was possible to book more than one.

Celebrity makes guavaberry coladas??? never had one on a ship-only in St Martin.....
Marsha
Pretty sure I was ordering them the last cruise :) After we left St. Marteen. I had never heard of Guavaberry until I stopped there and people from here told me you have to try guavaberry. Very good drink.
-
Meaning everyone from above will be looking down on me while on the balcony?
-
Are the balconies on Aft cabins on S class ships private or will you feel that someone is looking down on you the whole time you are out there?
Thanks in advance.

We booked on Reflection a couple weeks ago so we are all set there now. Got a great cabin - 1044 on the hump. Excited to see how it compares. We sailed on Aqua on Silly a couple months ago.
Thanks all for the info.

Sorry took me a couple of days to circle back.
Doesn't Go Best also get you the premium drink package instead of classic? Do you happen to know the price difference?
The price difference for 3 people between better and best is $210 a person so it's $630 total. So with the upgrade to premium drinks it might be worth it. And I don't know if we'd use all the OBC so some of it might cover the tips for my kid. Decisions . . .
You are correct in your belief that the go best promotion gets you the premium drink package. The difference between standard drink package and premium drink package is $11,80/day

All Concierge cabins have the same benefits. What seperates a C1 from a C2 and a C3 are cabin location.

I like hearing Bob Marley and reggae music while by the pool. I would be disappointed if there was no music.

Thanks all. Guess I was concerned about the safety at the ports in Panama, Columbia and Costa Rica. Guess that is not an issue. I will probably lean towards that sailing.

I'm hoping my wife doesn't see this thread...
I had her convinced at one point there were no stores on-board that sell those bags :)

Call celebrity and give them the cruise you were on and your name. They can get word to certain crew members via email.
-
Will she also be on board mid-July?
She should be on through Nov. I believe. She is our favorite.
-
How often does the crew change up? When would I know who will be on the Silhouette in Oct?

Sara Romero will be the CD on your cruise.

And I did check the sticky. A closet across the hall that stocks water. Just wasn't sure which of that group to choose.
-
My choices are 2202, 2211, 1647, 1653, 1655, 1659, 1661, 1663, 1674, 1678, 1680, 1682, 1684 or 1686.. Not real good options for C2 IMO. December cruise on Reflection.
Thanks for any help.
-
Yeah...The hike won't bother me. I was following your cruise. You were telling Sara I said hello :) I hope she is still there in Dec. but I have my doubts. I can't see there being much difference in the cabins but figured it was worth asking. Wish I could get Aqua but not much left there.
-
Didn't know if there was much difference. Those are hte only C1s left on my sailing. Thoughts???
Anyone buy a camera while on their cruise?

We have a fair amount of OBC and was curious. How do the price compares to the big box stores or big online places. I can't recall what they were on our last cruise. I am guessing Nikon cameras. Any ideas on the model?
And how will this be handled with customs? Just thought this might be a practical way to spend our OBC.
Thanks in advance for any information.
