Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. My wife and I are platinum cruisers. We were originally going to take our upcoming cruise on the Jubilee by ourselves, but my Son (16) begged us to let him come and even cover his cruse fare and his sister's (13) fare so we decide to go ahead and book them on the cruise with us. I originally booked this cruise during the COVID days and got a steal on the room (less than $500pp Spa Cove Balcony). In order to not loose that rate we booked a cabin across the hall for my son and daughter. Something I didn't think about at the time was they are Gold cruisers so they do not have priority embarkation, debarkation, etc. My question is because they are in a separate cabin will they be able to board with my wife and I or will we need to stay back and board with them? I know in all likelihood we are talking a 20 maybe 30 min difference I am just trying to figure it all out in my head so I can prep the rest of the crew. Thanks for any insight.
  2. I am having the same issue. Bonsai was available to book for specialty dining for our cruise (going April 20th) a couple days ago, but it is no longer listed. The Green Eggs and Ham breakfast shows "sold out" but is still shown on the website so I am wondering if this is a glitch on the website.
  3. When we originally booked this cruise it was just my wife and I going and we had booked a night in the steakhouse (back when the fee was lower). Since then my wife decided we needed to bring our teenagers with us and she wants to treat them to the steakhouse. I hate to cancel our current reservation with the lower rate, but the cruise planner does not have an option to add anyone to the reservation. Can I call my PVP to add the stowaways to this reservation (obviously at the higher rate) or do I have to suck it up, cancel the current reservation, and pay the higher rate for everyone?
  4. Thanks so much for your responses! Groundloop, you covered everything we were wondering about. We all have passports so we are good there.
  5. My wife will become platinum while on our upcoming cruise in a few weeks. The rest of us (husband and 2 kiddos) will not be platinum. I thought I had read that since my wife will become platinum while we sail she will be given the platinum status for this cruise and as such will have priority boarding, etc. Can anyone with experience tell me if that is the case and if since she would be platinum will that give priority boarding and debarkation to the rest of us? We aren’t too concerned with the priority boarding, but we have a 14hr drive home so the priority debarkation would be a real help.
