No comparison between Carnival and NCL. Carnival is Chevrolet and NCL is Buick. Except for NCL Haven which is Mercedes S class.
-
Its almost impossible to calculate. Depend on what you are doing. Thats why I like NCL internet better. You buy actual minutes of time, not Megabytes.
However this may help:10 MB is approx.

I love Disney but unfortunately, I have never been on a Disney cruise. They're process are just too ridiculous for a middle class family. Apparently, they don't want the middle class on their ships. :(
No, they DO want middle class on their ships but only the ones who are willing to pay the price. They definitely don't want the whiners and cheapskates. Those folks are better suited to Carnaval.

I won't lie, its hot right now in Florida. Bahamas about the same. Bust for beach days its perfect!

I have been on many NCL cruises and many Disney. NCL our favorite line hands down. The night life on Disney is not at the same level you have experienced on NCL but there are many fun things to do in the Cove as has been mentioned. If you are looking for something like the white hot party on NCL you will not find that on Disney. Keep in mind while their are many adult only activities on DCL, most of the ships real estate is geared for the kids and familys. That is the target market of Disney. Thats why the other lines will have more adult parties, etc. and more space for adults like casino and nightclubs.

Disney employees already have a full time job collecting all the inflatable tubes and floating mats the the wind blows to the sea wall when the tourist just leave them in the water. Its the ocean, not a swimming pool. Thats why they have the rules. If everyone did it it would make a bigger mess of things. Thy have plenty of life vests which are safer for little ones. And you can rent their mats which are durable.

On a side note, the circular shower tub on the Dream and Fantasy is only a tub if you are under 10 years old.
-
We always go with a concierge suite on Dream or Fantasy. Did it once on Magic and never again. Unless they have recently changed the rules, on the Dream and Fantasy the only suites that can have Palo brought in is the Roy or Walt Disney suites. Those are the giant ones at the front of deck 12. Very $$$$

As a side note, Cabana 18, if you're talking about Serenity Bay, is now Cabana 22. It's our favorite too.
I was referring to the family cabanas.

Moderator, time to lock this thread.

I'm glad you enjoy the cabana. We found a rather private little corner of the beach that we used before any cabanas were built and continue to use. It's not obvious' date=' and we really do enjoy that there aren't a bunch of people around. Yes, a bit of privacy is nice.[/quote']
Nice! Don't ever tell anyone where it is! LOL
-
I would not enjoy the island without a cabana. Every cruse since day 1 we have rented one and they are very nice with some nice perks and most importantly some privacy. Worth every penny. Cabana 18 is our favorite. I have a $2 bill buried there for future generations...

Yes you will see Dory. And the theater is very nice!

Can't PM here on Cruise Critic.
Does CC have a suggestion box? That's a good one. PM would be great!

Good grief. So sorry to hurt your feelings. You certainly did mine when you attacked me about my legal experience..... I forgive you.
-
You think I look silly now, after you posted
You either have intentionally misled or overstated your legal experience in this area to myself and others into believing you work or have worked in the legal field, or posted garbage with no real knowledge of the legalities of what might happen.
Which is it e2011?

You should maybe also look into this FL law.

In the course of doing my civic duty I have served on 4 juries in Florida district court , 3 of which were bodily injury cases. One was a death liability. I learned a lot about this area of the law. I think you have beat this topic to death. Can we move on or are you going to subject all of us on this board to more of your ramblings? I will bet you are the type of person who has to get the last word... Let's see

Yup... AT&T works perfectly in St. Thomas with no roaming fees. And the service is very good.
-
Yup. That's their definition of a king. A true king bed is 76 inches wide. Doesn't sound like a big difference but ask DW and she will tell you it's a mile [emoji41] lol
LOL.. I hear ya!
-
From the Royal Caribbean web site:
Q: What are the dimensions of the beds onboard?
A: Royal Caribbean’s stateroom beds across the entire fleet are twin beds that convert to a Royal King size bed. A Royal King bed measures 72.5 inches wide by 82 inches long.

On a more positive side....there was the cruise where the Wonder rescued an idiot who jumped/fell overboard from a Carnival ship (videos on line are worth seeing)' date=' picking up people from a refugee boat, characters visiting children's hospitals, etc. So there is positive news of DCL.[/quote']
Yes indeed. Disney does many things to support community and family.
-
NCL has the best suite perks!
Indeed. Once you go Haven you can never go back....
-
Maybe they should post some fences and signs warning to use common sense at all times and never leave your child to roam around in case of rogue DCL crew members? ;)

As dumbed down as our current society is thats not a bad idea. You should suggest that to Disney Cruise Lines!
-
Sadly, Disney Cruise Line is not immune to the problems other cruise lines have. In 2013 a child nearly drowned on the Disney Fantasy and suffered permanent brain damage. According to a Google search, in 2015 an 11 year old girl on the Disney Magic was sexually assaulted. In April 2014 and August of 2012 two girls were molested on the the Disney Dream. Bottom line is you have to watch your children at all times. Do not assume since it is a Disney cruise, nothing bad can happen. It can and it does. Just use the same common sense you use on land.
DO NOT fly in the day of the cruise (if you have any alternative)
