  1. I dont know.. but there are only two of them right .. on the one ship?

no other ships have them.. maybe their online booking, since there are only two of them total, (not two per ship), they dont want to reprogram the booking engine?

Maybe that's why. I am glad I called in just to see if this cabin was available. I am looking forward to this view.

    Thank you for the info.

  2. If they are only one ONE ship.. and only 2 of them.. there is no reason to list them.. you wouldnt get a price match as you said.. highly unlikely.

They were added to one ship.. who knows why. Have not heard of plans to add them to other ships.

Wouldnt matter if you booked ES or not it sounds like.. unless the other person booked gives up their cabin.. then they would come up to book on carnival.com. If there are none available to book, they wouldnt come up right?

If all the PTs are booked, they will not come up either.

They wasn't showing up as available at all via the internet site but when i called my pvp they had them available for booking.

She said she wasn't sure why those cabins are not listed as available because she could see both rooms avail for several bookings when carnival.com wasn't showing the room available at all.

She said 9200 and 9201 was both available for my sailing a cat 6k at a rate of 659pp. But nothing via the website about this cabin.

  3. Hello all. I just got off the phone with my pvp and I am very excited to announce I have booked a cruise for Feb 2014 on Carnival Valor leaving San Juan going to the southern Caribbean.

After seeing a post about a 6k cabin I did some research and called Carnival and then my PVP and I have this spectacular cabin booked!!

Now here is my ?? I know that there are only 2 of these cabins available on this ship and I booked at an es rate. I know price drops are probably going to be slim to none! Understandable.

I a just wondering why these cabins 9200 & 9201 cat 6k are not available via the website and they are not listed with any price under the fare-viewer or the fish site.

I have attached some pics of my cabin and just anted to share my excitement and was wondering if anyone had any insight on why these cabins don't appear to be avail on any sailing I looked at all though I was able to book by calling in and requesting??.. Will they open these cabins up for booking via the website at another time?

    Thanks.... Melissa

I was about 39 days out when I booked my first family cruise for me and the kids. Well I have cruised before but never the children. I was so excied when I looked online and although they were interior, they were side by side and they was adjoining!! They wasn't the average interior cabins these were more squared. See pics above. Cabin numbers 6295&6297 on upper deck on the Triumph, But I was so happy to get these cabins at the price I paid for a family of 6. I also booked one adult and 2 children per cabin and best part as mentioned above 2 bathrooms!! This was my first interior cabin but I have seen the "usual" inside room and this room was shaped and arranged completely different than the other on the ship. I love the adjoining rooms! They are such a convince!

  5. We did a b2b on the Fascination this past December. If you have any questions just ask and I will try to answer.

If Joseph is still the Maitre d try to get in the dining room that he was is working in. Best maitre d I have ever had. Quite the character.

We loved the bar located right outside the casino. They usually had a band playing there every night.

    Serenity deck was great.

"Joseph your super charged Maitre D"

I loved him! He was walking around the dining room introducing himself to everyone and was tons of fun!

He was there in March, had him at late dining at 8:15 in the Sensation dining room.

Me and my travel companion went to the MDR after embarkation and requested a table for 2 and although the ship was fully booked we were able to get a table for 2 right in the middle of the dining room and enjoyed it very much.

  6. When we were in Nassau last March, our party of 4 went on island around 6 after all the shops were closed and really didn't know what we wanted to do. A cab driver advised us that the diggs and the grounds were free after 6 to tour. We went over there after stopping at a liquor store for a bottle of Rum... Toured the diggs and seen the aquariums.. We also walked around the grounds and seen the slides and the sharks that surround the slide, although it was dark we found some chars and a table by a shallow what I assumed was a kiddie pool, Enjoyed our Rum and for some reason the had fireworks that night so it was a very nice thing to do and FREE!!:p

  7. Hello.. Me, dh and 4 kids ages 12,10,7 and 6 are all booked on Carnival Triumph for Feb 27.. We got an awesome rate. As much as I wanted at least an OV room, this is the children's first time cruising and I wasn't comfortable without connecting staterooms. So the only connecting rooms left on the ship was interior and in an awkward space compared to the usual interior rooms. The room is a little more squared than rectangular. But it does connect to the kids room with an adjoining door so I am really relieved about that. Now to the math.. For 2 interior rooms, adjoining. On Carnival Triumph 5 day total per state room for 3 in each came to a whopping.....737.00 plus taxes and fees so 872.45 per room for a total of 1744.90 for a fam of 6 on upper deck.. :p Being that I paid 805 total for an OV on my last 3 day cruise for 2 people on Sensation last March I was VERY PLEASED at this deal!
