Good Morning my fellow Cruisers,

a friend of mine is sailing on the miracle in Ocean Suite 6158 and im trying to get some information for him, is the bed configuration an upper bunk, single pull out and king - they are a family of 4

also, is carnival like princess and when you stay in a suite do you get one complimentary mini bar set up? what other perks do carnival suite guests receive....ive never had a suite on carnival just princess :(:eek::eek:

Anyone currently on board Carnival - can you have a peek in duty free shops and let me know the price of the 2015 snowflake and 2015 christmas bulb..... found a deal online but want to check price on the ship as well :)

Florida Georgia Line is chartering a cruise in november out of miami, its going to be an amazing time with so many concerts i dont think ill sleep at all.

anyone else going? I am traveling solo as the other 2 people who were booked bailed...... ive heard so many great things about this cruise and looking forward to it!

ive done solo on carnival and princess for the chef table...it was truly an enjoyable experience.....hit or miss with table mates but hey, its a lovely meal with new people to chat with :)

I just got back from an Alaskan cruise on princess and had a wonderful time, met up with people from the roll call and met others around the ship.....the most friendly people i found were in the cigar room.

im 31 and have been on 2 solo cruises, with another in november....florida georgia line charter cruise through norwegian :)

just go have fun and relax, and since you are alone no need to waste space packing PJ's lol

Hey folks sorry yes I did finally make it. Missed both of my excursions in Skagway but I arrived shortly before 12 pm. Had a wonderful 4 night cruise and met many wonderful people. I was famous lol. Seemed as if everyone knew my story. Random people were chatting about it :).

The good news is although I missed 3 nights. I had an amazing time when I arrived and I have decided to go back again next year (with less clothes lol). It was very warm and very beautiful!

Oh, and yes I will be flying in 2 days prior next time lol ;). Hard lesson learned!!!

Thank you everyone for your encouragement!!! I have arrived finally in anchorage, they can't get me to Skagway till Tuesday afternoon so I'll be missing both of my planned excursions but hey! At least I'm gonna meet the ship lol. Matcodixon Ya I fly to Juneau then take a float plane should be interesting !!!! Had fun last night at humpys ale house. Lovely craft beers and live music. Off to the portage glacier today!!

When life gives u lemons. Shoot patron lol I'm so sad but it's ok. And I'll tell all yall this fly in the day before always!!!! Omg. Avoid disappointment.

But I'm gonna have fun. In anchorage tomorrow. And an extra day Skagway

Lesson learned. In all cruises prior I flew in the night before. I booked flights this time through princess .... I'm gonna make the most of it. But still super bummed :(.

Well I'm beyond the single digit dance to sail away day! Today is sail away!

However,

Due to a malfunctioning windshield wiper on the damn plane. I am stranded in Vancouver and missed embarkation!!!! I will not meet up with the grand until Tuesday (that is if I can get a flight to Skagway).

Lesson learned folks. Always fly in the day before u sail. I'm crushed that I am not on board the grand right now but have been crying about it all day since the first 10 minute delay.

I figure I'll make the most of it. I'm flying to anchorage tomorrow and I booked a room at the Sheraton ..... What kind of trouble will I get into there I wonder,

Once I land in anchorage I am to call the delay transit dept of princess to get my flight to Skagway booked. Then I'll book a hotel .).

So, for the mean time I'm at the river rock casino in Vancouver. Wishing I was on the coral (I think so anyways) as I would of totally made her sailing north bound today. But alas, I'm gonna have some drinks and some fun maybe. My waitress here at the casino is a bit of a knob and apparently does t want me to hang around until 9 (when the band comes on). But hey I'm a customer too lol

I am sooo excited and super pumped to board Princess after a year and a half being away!

Is one of my favorites and will be my second stop as soon as i step on board the Grand on Saturday!!!!!

It's only me sailing and I find breakfasts the weirdest to find table mates.... So if it is too much for two it's gonna be way too much for 1 lol. I've had the balcony dinners before and agree it's awesome !!!

would the korbel be included in the AI drinks package i wonder?

I understand that the cost wont change but there are several items in this package that i want to have/do but im cruising solo, I weighed the costs and its pretty much on par to the actual cost of the package. All the cruises ive taken ive never been to the bridge and would love to have an opportunity to do this :)

? My impression of the OP QUESTION was what was the earliest flight as their flight got changed to 1045..... I was stating a fact that I booked a 1045 flight and there's nothing to stress about....

Hey I just watched a princess promo for Alaska and they mentioned a Klondike party.....

Has anyone ever done this. Did u bring a costume? I love theme parties and would love to pack a saloon gal costume but want to be sure there is a party rather then waste space in my luggage if there isn't?

i tried searching this but came up unconclusive.

My question's are ...............

1) is it better to pre purchase the drinks package or wait till you board.

2)If you pre purchase will your sail and sign be already be punched upon arrival and you dont have to do anything when you board except order your first drink.

3) I understand its a one of at time of purchase (unless you get to know your bartender) but does bottled water count? say could I order a beer and a water at the same time.

is at 10:45 - im on deck 5 so my plan is to walk myself off as i only have one bag so it wont be difficult to get down to deck 4 and im gonna grab a cab and be on my way....not stressed at all :)

does norwegian offer a drink package i am not familiar with NCL and am curious :)
