So,

im pretty outgoing and have no issues meeting people etc., however im still a smidge hesitant about my cruise in 18 days BTW.....

I have booked and cancelled numerous times different excursions for the two ports OCHO RIOS and GRAND CAYMAN....

cant seem to make up my mind.

I have started a roll call but i must have invisible (to me) horns growing out of my face as there is no traffic really one or two people. Ive utilized roll calls loads in the past, and this stumps me as to why its so quiet.

anyways, im going to go and hope for the worst...then my expectations will definately be surpassed :) HAHA

has anyone ever attended the meet and mingle on the ships? i havent to date and was considering doing this as a different way to meet folks.

PS - I have lurked lots over the past few years, and have never done a proper review so I will be doing one for this cruise :)

I was planning on taking an excursion to RP this month but not taking the bus back to the pier was hoping for a taxi ride, 45 min seems quite tedious though..........

i want to go to starfish point and check out all the starfishes, and thats near rum point but looks like that will have to wait till another time :(

I sent in my statement on June 17 for my upcoming cruise July 26 and im still not seeing anything in my cruise personalizer..

I think a reg balcony was an additional 350.

Kibbles and Bits just doesnt get the draw of a Chefs Table

I like many of you have repeated the menu. Which is totally fine, the food is amazing the experience way fun I mean who doesnt like getting drunk in the kitchen during dinner service jk !!!

I love doing Chef tables anywhere i go because the experience is great and usually u meet some amazing people.

I would like to see a different menu, to try something new. Not because i dont want to eat the same food again, but to try new things.

I am a picky eater and usually stick to what works for me but during chef tables i will at least try everything and ive been surprised many times...fois gras - pretty tasty veal - pretty tasty - tuna tar tar - really enjoyed cavair - not bad but not my taste....would i try these again"?> maybe, would i make them at home definately not.

trying new things, having a great experience, meeting new people those are what draw me to a chefs table.

ps my most memorable chefs table was on the royal princess with chef Alfredo. damn that chef table luminery was amazing!

background - I was in Sydney last March and decided to try SCUBA diving......well multiple factors hindered my experience causing me to have anxiety and get out of the water. I had made it under 4 times at a max depth of 12 feet but the way the company was instructing freaked me out, I was getting kicked in the head, and the misses above me had a full blown anxiety attack which ended up with her being heli lifted off the reef to the hospital in Sydney. So needless to say I was dissappointed in myself for not finding my zen and calming myself down enough to go ahead and finnish a dive.......At the end they awarded me with a certificate that said that i had "almost" completed my dive.

Anyways long blown out story short, I am dissappointed and want to try again..........so i figured that i would try the SNUBA on my upcoming cruise to GC. Has anyone else done this excursion?

Hopefully I can complete this one with out loosing my mind.

I have been on several chefs table and the menu "varies" lol by the chef. I laugh at that because in 2012 I did the chefs table on the liberty and then in 2013 I did it on the imagination and it was the same menu!!!

Anyways enough about that!

I think it's 95pp still.

You are going for the experience. Enjoy the surprise and try something new! I had fois gras( or however it's spelt) in October on the royal princess. Would I eat it again. Definitely not. But it was fun to try new things.

Plus chef doesn't like it much when ppl bugger with their menus!

I say go for it. Enjoy it and try something new! Plus you will get to help make a wc mc!!!

Ps don't wear heels. Flats are easier to stand in the galley while learning about the kitchen food consumption etc!

Lol I've never seen single guys on a ship. But I like the idea of the piano bar and pre dinner drinks at many if the venues.
