What is we already booked our cruise? Could this be done afterwards by calling sailor services?

What if I booked my flight with Virgin Atlantic and the flight is operated by Delta? For our cruise in June, we booked via Virgin Atlantic, but the flight is operated by Delta flying from New York to Barcelona.

We shall see once we take the cruise. Glad the decision was changed. This was a bit of a rollercoaster ride for us. Thanks

Totally agree!! If I had to hear about that stupid contract one more time..... This was a very bad decision on Virgins part, and glad they realized their mistake. This is one of the reasons I am not a cruiser! But looking forward to my June 30th cruise!

When a cruise ship markets a itinerary and then drops it 90 days prior, that is a bad decision on their part. Hence, why did they re-instate it? This was a business decision that went bad! Apparently they read the concerns of their customerson here and most likely got their lines flooded with calls about cancellations. I would get it if the destination was cancelled due to weather or unrest in that country. But this was a bad call. If they want to take Sailors advice, make that change on a new cruise. Not one that you have already started selling!!

This is why I am not an avid Cruiser!! My wife and I picked this cruise for its Itinerary. The boat was our easy transportation to those destinations. I get that a cruise ship can cancel a port due to weather or other mitigating circumstances, but 60 days ahead? If it is an issue in France, then say it. Don't use the comment of recent sailor feedback. Why not just cruise the sea and not stop anywhere then?? False advertising. Signed, Pissed off Sailor!

First timer here as well. And I have a very bad taste now! We were not enamored with Toulon but booked an excursion to St. Tropez! We were both stoked to go there. I was hoping they would book us into another port at least!! Not happy at all!!

Just got the email today for the June 30th cruise. I am a bit pissed about this. My wife and I had just booked an excursion to St. Tropez! We were both looking forward to that. Had we known this prior, we would have not booked the cruise! We loved the itinerary. Spent even more money to fly to Barcelona. Virgin should give us more than the port taxes back for this! This is a huge disappointment!
