When we were on the Freedom (twice) last winter, Carwin in the Schooner bar (who was my buddy throughout both cruises ;)) told me his brother Sean worked in the R Bar on the Enchantment. There was no doubt who Sean was when I went to the R Bar on the Enchantment a month later (they were very obviously brothers). He was just as great a bartender as his brother. Raj in the R Bar on Enchantment made the most amazing Cosmopolitans! Kudos to him too!

Sorry- they do not have a regular piano player this cruise. They substituted the guitar player - Stephen Burke last night. He is very good and plays in the sports bar (king and court) tonight.

Well that's disappointing. Hope it's not the norm. I'll write to RCCL and get the entertainment list before we cruise in February.

The people on board are usually "the last to know" stuff like that.

Hey Carol! Having you on a ship before me is such a bonus! You are always such a wealth of information.

We are doing the Navigator 6 day on March 27th. One on my favorite things to do is hang at the Schooner Bar in the evenings. I see Phil Anderson is currently the piano guy but it appears Royal Caribbean is not renewing his contract that ends this month. Would you mind asking around to see if anyone knows who will be replacing him? I'll want to prepare myself if it's one of the less desirable piano players we've encountered over the years. There have been few. Those cruises have usually cost me a lot more moola because the time I would have spent in the Schooner bar was spent in the casino instead! :eek:

Not a problem if the info isn't available. I can send an email asking about the entertainment a few weeks out from our cruise.

Any idea why I can make specialty dining reservations for our March 27th Navigator cruise but I can't make any for our Feb 27 Brilliance cruise? We can buy drink packages and purchase excursions, just can't make dining reservations. I called yesterday but gave up after 20 minutes on hold.

According to their ** page, the webcam is down indefinitely. What you're seeing is snippets of video taken before the camera power was shut off. At the top of the webcam page, it says the camera is offline. :(
