  1. I Just posted a suggestion on another page on maybe a compromise ... Change the 8S balconies to smoking...

They are on top of the ship/ limited number of cabins port and starboard/ and higher priced.

Right now they are marketed as non smoking balconies for those who didn't want to chance being next to a smoker on the regular balconies..... Now that the all balconies are smoke free... Switch those upper cabins...

Easy to do... The S now goes from spa to smoking

Fair to me as a non smoker

  3. IF the smoking ban is true.... The reason given should be/will be because of the fire hazard. So why would/should they ban ecigs on balconies? They need to address the ecig policy.

I am sure someone will complain about the vapor from the ecig also, but it's should be about compromise, if you are gonna take something away you should give a viable alternative.

I think take away the actual cigarettes on balconies, but allow e-cigs ( no fire hazard ).

  4. Leaving today on the Sunshine and my family of 6 has several private excursions planned for the ports that we already booked on our own. We're prepared to tip $40 for the family - able to go up or down, based on the experience. No idea how this rates - interested to see what others do.

Sent from my iPhone using Forums

For us( 2)it depends on the excursion... If it's just a bus tour and the really don't do much for us... $5

    Adventure guides $10-$20

  5. Just watched the Breeze pull in from our room at the Inter-Continental!!!! Just a few short hours and we board her and head south!!!!! :). Bon Voyage and happy sailings everyone!!!!!!!

    Have a great time!

  6. 1st cruise I used only meclizine, had a few very rough nights, ended up sick one of those nights

2nd cruise i used meclizine in conjunction with sea bands, had some rough water but no problems with feeling nausea.

    3rd cruise...same

Was wondering if anyone has tried the motion eaze and if so, what was your experience. My son hates the sea bands and i hate to give him a pill every day, but he does need SOMETHING as he has a history of migraines and the rocking gets to him sometimes. For whatever reason, if he gets sick, he gets stressed and stress equals a migraine which equals more nausea... you get it.

    Mecliziine does help though.

I picked some up prior to my 1st cruise, used it on my plane ride down and it worked great... No problems

Never had to use it on the ship.

  7. We would love to fly in a day prior to the cruise, but due to schedules we can't....we have flown in the day of the cruise every time (10x). And knock on wood... No problems ... We always try to take the 1st flight out as well as non-stop... But we have done flights with connections... Yes it can be stressful....
