Don't start the negotiation at 3. Tell your daughter you aren't planning on getting internet for her. She will be very unhappy. Then offer to let her share an internet connection with her friend. She will love you.

Thank you.
Just trying to work out whether to get 1, 2 or 3?
Me and hubby in one cabin, next door daughter and her friend. My hubby probably not too bothered except on odd occasion but am I being mean expecting my daughters friend to share with my daughter if I just buy package for 2 it's £57 more for 3 devices?

I always book through an agent, it is always cheaper. I get the rough price, with a struggle through the RCCL website, I then call one agent get a price, call another agent they ask if I've already been given a price and they beat it. I do this with about 4 different agents till eventually one says they can't beat the price.

Actually a 12 year old is in the stern club not kid's club, and is charged adult prices for shore excursions.
I certainly hope you had maintenance in to fix that! Imagine the next cruisers who aren't family.
It wasn't a Royal sailing I'm sure.

I've booked two cabins next door to each other. Me and my husband, daughter (17) and daughters friend (17). I've booked myself and daughters friend in one and my husband and daughter in the other. Gonna swap around once on board, but was concerned that I wouldn't have a key for my room cos my key would be for next door can't swap passes cos mines got deluxe drink package on it!!
Is it possible to get a spare key?
My friends daughter 17 and her boyfriend 18 went on a cruise together with no adult, was surprised they were allowed.

See this thread from last week: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2457208 and especially posts #9 and 10.
In post #9, I've posted a link to Royal Caribbean's online form that I use and in post #10 another CC member posted about how to handle it if the parents are signing at separate times.
You'll also need to insure that the travel documents meet the requirements of any of the countries of ports of call.
Have a great cruise.

Thank you :)

Does anyone know if the cost of internet is the same price to purchase on board as it is purchasing before. I'd like to make use of the 15% discount but don't want to find out its actually more expensive on board and ends up costing me more?

HI is anyone able to help me. We have just booked Voyager in August. We are taking my daughter and her friend who are both 17. I need a notarised letter signed by her parents, can anyone advise if Royal Caribbean have a standardised form and if so where can I find it. I need to ensure both parents sign it as they are not married and the daughter has a double-barrelled surname of both her parents.
Thank you.

What is the earliest check in time you got
Mine was half 11
Yep 11.30 for us too

Awesome. I have had one person respond they would love to be a part of it, and I'm sure others will as they check the forums. We will make it happen. We have never done a cruise where we are on of the first on the ship. So excited! And happy to provide info for others because I have learned so much from the posters here

It's just in the anthem admittedly that was DD but also had American Icon, a Chinese one and another as well as main dining room, all the others on Oasis class that are complimentary apart from MDR appear more cafe self serve places? Is that right?
-
Anyone know what restaurants there are that are complimentary I can only see Main Dining room and coastal kitchen, seems very limited and a huge amount you have to pay for?
-
As Bob mentioned, you can only access public areas via the elevator lobbies (and they adjoin the elevator lobbies for the most part - Schooner Bar, Focus, Boardwalk and the Aqua Theater via the aft lobby and the Spa & Fitness Center via the forward lobby) - these are also the only places you'll be able to cross over from the port to starboard sides of the ship as the Royal Promenade creates sort of a canyon that runs down the center of Deck 6 (that may be why you thought Central Park was also on Deck 6 based on the deck plans).
Can I ask you knowledgable people - what deck us Central Park on? Also the Boardwalk? Are they on same deck?
Does a D7 not have a sofa in it?
Does it mean that say a D8 would be smaller than a D4?
Thank you

Yeah no sea days but it should've said that on the royal IQ app I assumed it was your personal itinerary!
-
Also take no notice of the Royal IQ app. I looked on it to see places to go for lunch and saw American Icon lunch menu and fancied the burger as burgers in windjammer are not nice so got changed only to find its not open for lunches. So much misunderstanding!!
-
Happy to answer any questions people may have about the ship
Can you tell me what restaurants are available when you first get on the ship?
-
Loving this review thank you so much 😀
-
Anyone know that if you try to check in before your allotted time do they allow it or do they make you wait?
-
Thank you this is very useful; we are sailing on Anthem for 3 nights in October.
Would be interested to know how the North Star operates? Do you simply queue or do you have to book a time slot etc?
Many thanks.
Joan
Was there long queues for North Star? What time did people start queuing from.
what about the ifly? (think thats what its called!) Is that the same queue up?
